I give USC props also for doing what they are doing for what little experience you yourself keep claiming they have like that is a good thing. On one side it is a good thing and comes across like they were not expected to be doing and winning like this.
I think they are right on pace where they should be and have had some seriously bad showings these past weeks for what "they" consider their standards should be and in the meantime those wins have been against a rather week Pac-10 schedule thus far. You gotta admit the Pac-10 as a whole is weak this year and I agree with gman....no way USC could handle Ohio St or Michigan right now. End of the season who knows I guess. We gotta wait and see. Personally I don't think USC could beat the likes of Texas right now either.
If USC somehow brings it all together the upcoming weeks and solidifies a true win against Cal, then that may change my opinion on em'.
If you notice for the first time in years Good old coach Pete looks a little nervous everytime they show him on the sideline. Not as much confidence and swagger and running up and down the sidelines like we've always seen in the past. I got mucho respect for the man and his coaching, but we'll see how good his coaching is now without all of the talent they paid for years ago to get there now that they have to keep their program clean. Lol, just raggin' there....I'm pullin' for ya Scott either way and wish em' the best. Just can't wait for that Cal game then I'll be a believer.
