I'll vote for Trump; but in an election that's essentially 50 seperate elections and unless things drastically change; my vote in the state of Ca is essentially worthless.

Hillary has been labeled a liar by the GOP, ironically their candidate outlies her maybe 100 times over. There is nothing to talk you into or out of. I'll vote for Hillary simply because she brings Bill back to the white house.

The only time I ever voted either Rep or Dem was for Obama, all the other times I threw my vote away. I may have voted Clinton 2nd term, don't really remember. I definitely won't vote Hillary or Trump.
And that's your right. Everyone has their reasons to vote whichever way they want. I generally vote democrat because the platform is usually more in line with the ideals i believe in. Unfortunately, most people think the presidential election is the place to make a stand and actually vote and, in my opinion, cast their ballot for the wrong reasons. Presidents carry little weight in national legislation and the everyday workings of your government. They are, to me, an international figure. They are generally the single most powerful person in the world. I want that person to reflect the strength and resolve of a united social democratic republic. That person can't be an intransigent buffoon that will go into a foreign country such a Scotland and make an ass of himself by being ill prepared and then hawk some steaks. I don't need a businessman because the country isn't a business.
Congress is where we as a country feverishly fail. Poor voter turnouts in mid terms lead to long term congressmen that are the backbone of our economic and legislative system. There is far more restriction on a president's ability to effect any real change as it relates to our everyday life on policies.
Without going to long, my humble advice to you would be to think about what position you're voting for and who do you think would be best suited to represent the country among international powers. Regardless of the right wing propaganda and the coordinated efforts of the GOP to do anything they can to discredit her and throw away your tax dollars on frivolous investigation after investigation, Hillary did a good job as Secretary of State, which should be the president's attache to foreign policy. She's an excellent litigator that has dealt with the foreign leaders in place now. That alone is enough to get my vote.
I am not foolish enough to think any president has the ability to "build a wall", "kick out the muslims", or "take our guns". If anyone believes that Trump is going to be balancing budgets, or pushing through tax reform or anything of the sort, week then you haven't been paying attention the last thirty years. He won't even be the one to write his platform for the election, that is done by the RNC.

He idolized the NYPD, one of the country's most well-known and cherished institutions that has an army bigger than ISIS, is known to indiscriminately, unwarrantedly and disproportionally spy on Muslims and which engages in systematic violence against Blacks, Latin@'s and other minorities.
He beat juveniles in detention centers over the head for a living as he worked for and got his training from the private security firm G4S, which is not only one of the foremost stakeholders in the Prison?industrial complex, but is also invested in mass deportations as it runs immigration detention centers and participates in the occupation of Palestine, training other mass killers in Israel to target and imprison Palestinians.
He staged a mass shooting in a country that has seen a 1,000 mass shootings in the last 1,200 days.
So basically he was ignorant, self-conflicted, racist, sexist, homophobe, had a sick admiration for authority and was obsessed with guns and violence, eventually acting upon all of that.
