Probably because the standard line for a home fave is -3 and the fact that Tampa is not a good team. I think the line is right and it will probably not move. If the Bucs were a good team, it would move a little, but they're not.

I'm wondering the same thing.. Is it official Cassel is out?

TB has a good run D and coming off a bye. We saw the Chiefs gameplan last week... Charles touched the ball 33 times.

noway in my mind are these teams a pickem on a nuetral field if it is freeman and brady quinn

agree tampa is not very good, but no way

nuetral field is freeman and quinn are starting, i am saying tampa -2 or 2.5

its brady quinn....

like dawgs said, chiefs ran the ball with chaarles 33 times last week and around 55 total rushes...

their offense is awful....

not close to tampas capability...

noway is this team even IMO

they both suck, one just sucks worse

Addict, you admitted yourself that Cassell isn't any good, and I agree with you. So, going with that and bringing in Quinn, wouldn't that be a wash then? The QB play by both of those guys is bad. Personally, I don't like the game, but put a gun to my head and I would reluctantly take the Bucs and buy it down to 2.5, but there are better games on the board to bet IMO.

i hear ya

cassel is bad

quinn is far below that ..

however many rungs down it is, I dont know, but it 100% is a drop off....

so for the line not to even move a .5 point, that makes me wonder..

I mean it BRADY QUINN

I hear ya, no reason anyone on earth should touch this game, but I am usually the one guy who will....

speaking of balt--as much as i hate to say it...
dallas in a nice spot, no way in hell im betting them, but balt has had trouble w pressuring the qb---
dallas gets ratliff, coleman, and sensabaugh off the bye--can o-line open holes for murray?

Just my two cents on a first glance and I haven't run my numbers yet, but KC is a VERY undervalued team. Brady Quinn was drafted by Romeo Crennell in Cleveland so there is an infatuation there. Is Quinn that much of a drop off from Cassell? Just thoughts here, will look at this game more closely but always respect your posts and opinions Addict so just chiming in as a brainstorm.

chiefs can run the ball better then most xcept houston....

but they overall are average everywehre else....

o line is good, but that is why they can run the ball good..

WRS are below average
TE is below average
qb is way below avg

online/rb above average

dline good
secondary ok at times and at some positions
linebackers I love derrick johnson

overall their defense is nice but nothing amazing

offfense is below average

to me i just dont see how quiin does not warrant a line change

they will put 8 in the box

can quinn beat a nfl defense???????

21 games started say no

Cassell and Quinn are both bad, really not enough to move a line if one or the other is playing. Chiefs on paper should be better then they are, but they have a terribly inept head coach that is making Herm Edwards look insightful.

good points addict, will look at it more closely. One tidbit that sticks out to me right off the bat is TB's lack of a homefield advantage. 5-18-1 ATS at home over last few years.

We're talking about the NFL here. Logic would tell you to bet the under, so take the over. Not much makes sense in betting the NFL, lol.

Hey Addict, you might be on to something with Tampa. That line is moving now, up to 4 in most spots. I capped this game today and I have it TB -3 so no play for me. I actually like the under in this game. GL bud :0074

Most likely scenario Cassel won't play. the reason the line won't move too much is that the perceived value of Quinn (or the insignificance of Cassel). I mean people were cheering Cassel's injury, that's how bad they think he is. I see them as a wash as both being terrible and the way Cassel's been playing I think the people and Vegas agree.

Public perception of Matt Cassell is at a all time low. I think the Chiefs will be better off giving Quinn a try and let him have a shot. He really hasn't got a shot. I mean what's the worse that can happen the Chiefs lose. We all know Matt Cassell is a turd. His status just wouldn't affect a line

Already from 3 to 4

I know cassel wasn't lighting it up, but this guy has lead 2 teams to the playoffs and was a big part to the patriots winning 11 games in a season...

I know he hasn't been great, but come on how can anyone say the switch from cassel to quinn isn't a downward one....

I'm not sayin kc isn't as good all around as tampa, and maybe that's why the line hasn't moved much, but to say quinn and cassel are both equal in talent is incorrect...

From 3 to 4 and will hit 5 by kickoff....

Quinn is terrible....

That being said, I bought outta this game....

Takin chiefs +4.5 on the buy to have a shot at a middle..

Nolonger bettin this with injuries....quinn sucks but chaarles could run wild...like I said, kc may be better at every other position....

The line isn't movin much, maybe that's cause the cheifs win, but not because of brady quinn replacing cassel....
