Looking like DRYS has 8 bucks written on it. And Jack If your right SRZ pulls off some funding to clear way for them. Maybe 4 to 6 range near future. :toast:

But didn't you know that mutual funds are the safest and best place for your money?

:gf:

this way sure seems easy but we have had a great 6 weeks in the market overall. hopefully we have a nice steady climb back to 14000 :00hour

i'm sure i would have lost heavily too during that bad stretch from last april to now too.

i do like being in control and making my own decisions and you might be the one who convinced me to pull out of my old accounts.

thank you, sir, if you are :)

What we need is about two/three more days up. Then grap a few proffits. Sit on our long plays. But next a small corrections to reload some. THat is the way to make money. Have some cash on the side to make a move or two. No market goes streight up. And this one will be know differant.

i don't think i can do that with my IRA accts but maybe you know the answer. one time i sold and the money was not available to use for 3 trading days. my cash acct i can do whatever i want as long as i have a minimum of 25K in there.

there's some kind of 3 day rule with my retirement accts but i'm not sure exactly what

i did call and ask why my money was not available and he said i had to wait 3 days. but, it was with a stock that i hadn't owned for 3 days either. day trading is not permitted for retirement accts he did say and no margin either.

do you know the rules?

i have half of my srz in retirement and would hate like hell to sell it and not be able to get right back in if i needed to.

MJ I have my IRA with fidelity. My restictions are with mutel funds only. AS long as I have cash enough to make purchase it,s done at once. I know nothing there then that. And with in your account. I believe if asked for you should have marginal amount you can use with a certian amount of days to pay. But stock is bought when ordered. At least I think that to be true. I guess it depends what firm??

i guess i'll call and confirm tomorrow. they did say NO MARGIN and NO DAY TRADES. I asked because i have margin in my cash acct. but didn't in my retirement and all my stocks in there are marginable ones except SRZ.

i think it had something to do with owning that stock for less than 3 days. just a fyi, i'll let you know what i find out.

i have no mutual funds anymore :nono:

Fidelity charges 8 bucks a trade if you make at least
125 a year. They make more of course the more you do and have never complained. Or 8 bucks again if you have 300000 or more in account. Then you don,t have to meat 125. I might add it,s been fantastic relationship with Fidelity. They got so many people you can talk with. And assign a person to you when joining that you can call anytime. By the way numbers above might be off just a little. Like 125 might just be100.
