close your eyes right now (don't look) and tell me the banner that is displayed on this forum that sticks out in your mind the most.

off the top of my head, i think of the sportbet banner the most.

Honestly, Madjack, nothing sticks out.

Years of web surfing has trained me to completely block out banner ads. When you asked, I couldn't think of ANYTHING. the only thing that sticks out to me is the smiley faces.

If I think about, I remember seeing 'gambler's data' up there, but honestly, nothing else.

the old MVP one with the boobs in the white bikini. I've seen this discussed before and the argument that, "If I wanted to see girls, I would go to a porn site!", but in reality, naked/scantilly clad ladies stick out and are arguably the best banner to have.

The first one that can to mind is the girl on the home page. Had to go back and look up the book. At BB it's KC-Wolf and in all the forums I just skroll down before they even come up.

Just before I read this thread, I saw the ad with the football player who looks like he is in Pop Warner, but I couldn't tell you that book, either!

Your advertisers will not like this thread, because I think all the responses will be the same.

The fact is, they are no different than any other ads you might see yourself, Jack, at other sites. You don't read them.....do you?

Word of mouth is the only advertising to be trusted, IMO.
