wow doc thanks for two great memories in one post.

one, the '67 nfl championship game. i was a 15 year old football wannabe who thought coach lombardi, bart starr, and especially paul hornung were the greatest men on the planet. my dad took me to meet hornung through a friend in louisville, ky, and i still have his autograph to this day.

two, my friend kcwolf, still one of the nicest persons i have met in my long life.

although i'm not a big rogers fan, i can't help but acknowledge his talent and will have no problem pulling for them to bring a championship back to the city of green bay.

as a postscript, just read the article about the game and realized that hornung didnt play in this game, having retired the year before. funny how time blurs memories, i would have bet and lost a chunk of money betting that he played in that game.

I do hate the Packers, I?m a die hard Viking fan, I can?t stand Aaron Rodgers and live for the few times he gets crushed. (In football sense) but when it comes to people betting money on the packer or Viking games I?m trying to put my biases aside. I may throw a few jabs in just because but that?s all in in good fun. It gets goofy when a poster starts calling me a piece of shit for bashing the Pack when I can.

They have a really good team this year and could be a little bit better if they didn?t draft like idiots
