The Crimson Tide desperately wants to get Jones more involved in their passing game, but they might have a tough time doing it against Tennessee in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Saturday.
Through seven games, Jones has 13 catches for 175 yards with one touchdown. Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy has struggled in October, completing only 50 percent of his passes with two touchdowns and two interceptions in three games.
McElroy is trying to force throws to Jones, especially in the red zone. According to ESPN research, McElroy is 0-for-10 on pass attempts to Jones inside opponents? 20-yard line. McElroy also is struggling to get downfield passes to Jones, completing only three of 15 attempts of 10 yards or more.

There has been alot of criticism about Tenn win over Georgia. Saying that Georgia has no defense.
Yeh well I am here to tell you that Georgia has athletes and they needed that game in Tenn. They were playing at their top level and got thumped.
If Georgia played Alabama this week it would be a close game.

It concerns me that Alabama did not score a touchdown in this game.
Tennessee stepped it up and surprised me in alot of ways. I did not expect them to have a chance to win the game at the last second ( nice read there volfan )
I did not think that Tenn could hold Ingrim under 100 yds (99)
Alabama shut down the roll out passes from Crompton but the Tenn QB really fired some balls in there when he had to. If they would have lofted some balls over the rush with screens , no telling how this game ends up. :scared
Big concern to me that Alabama did not score a TD in this game. You just cant go all the way by kicking field goals. It is going to catch up with you at some point. I know that Alabama top receiver Peek getting hurt before the game did not help but holy chit. GMac you got to throw it downfield.
The Alabama defense held Hardesty to 48 yds and that is a big accomplishment.
The wildcat thing is ok but I don't think that is going to work against Florida or Texas down the road.

Two blocked kicks. He won the game for Alabama
Cody snatched defeat out of the Lions mouth.

There were only a few times durning this game that I felt this play was in jeoprady. Thats the way I like it.
Alabama allows the first TD in a long time to Tenn Cromption. Got to hand it to Compton , he put Tenn in a position to win this game. Tenn defense played inspired defense and were stout all game.
Say what you want about Kiffin. But the guy or his daddy knows what they are doing.
maybe in Tenn the Vols would have pulled off this upset. Alabama pulls out a win by the skin of their teeth.
In closing Alabama may be a team of destiny. How does big ass Cody get his hand on two kicks. This Alabama team may be on a mission from God.
