Ok, Texas wiped the floor with Colorado in Austin a couple months ago. Colorado wouldnt even be in this game if Iowa State hadnt blown an 11 point second half lead at Kansas. I dont think Colorado has ANY shot at winning, but SOMEBODY please make the argument and try to convince me that they can....

I would love to see Penn State sneak into the Rose Bowl. I think most of us would rather see Penn State, the feel good story of the year, play for a shot at the title instead of the Horns. So, how can the Buffalo win this game on Saturday??

Texas will get charged with murder when this game is over.

Nah that was in Austin Texas, not colorado...not sayin it matters, but BIG 12 teams that have looked better than Texas have folded before in the championship game...

I would much rather see Texas play in the rosebowl personally. I think they have the best chance of beating SC, though I am praying it will be Penn St vs Texas in the rose bowl thanks to UCLA.
Then we would both be happy!

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Joel Klatt headlined a big night of offense for Colorado, throwing for 211 yards in the first quarter Saturday en route to a 398-yard, three-touchdown game and a 41-20 win over surprisingly overmatched Texas A&M.

Klatt, a senior, finished 28-for-36 with no interceptions. This was his third 300-yard game. He was well on the way to his third 400-yard performance, but coach Gary Barnett gave him the night off after he hit Quinn Sypniewski for a 36-yard score and a 41-6 lead midway through the third.

Colorado avgs 243.6 passing yards & #2 in the nation overall in rush defense with an average of just 79.5 rushing yards allowed....

----Ok I'm not saying that Colorado is a Terrific team but everyone who has played a sport at the college level (me) for instance knows that when someone gets hot they get hot.....It seems like this QB Klatt is pretty decent once he gets hot and as we know its a QB who can decide a tight game with one pass....look at what happend with Mcnabb against Dallas...

This is how Colorado wins if Klatt plays great, he is a senior and Young is only a junior need I remind everyone....Colorado kid has something to play for just like Young...

Ok----If Young doesn't scramble around like he did at A & M, Tex is going to be in a LOTTA TROUBLE. I'm serious. I know everyone is going to be like whatever Texas is great but honestly this Colorado team has a better team defense than A & M.

Also If Vince Young sits the pocket and lets Colorado get energized, He may get sacked or be forced to abandon the run in a tight game because Colorado's rush defense is Lagit.

These are my points....
1) Colorado is going to be energized to play agianst #2 team in the Nation just like AM was.
2)Clatt plays very well they have a chance
3) Young sits in the pocket Texas has a realistic chance of losing

Lastly, I'm kinda of worried about Tex if Colorado Klatt starts rushing around, Tex looked horrible and maybe we all saw the way that Tex can be beaten. Tex Defense simply did not look good last week. Texas will try to run the ball but may not have to much luck at doing so.

Yes it is very realistic and possible if Young sits the pocket for Tex to lose. Teams play a lot different when its championship time.....Maybe a Colorado 1st half pick is the way to go in this one.

GLA....I'dd love to see PSU play USC

I know its not the popular vote, and now with Young out of the Heisman race it seems, Young is going to be fired up. BUT...If young is hurt or something is wrong and no one knows about it and he sits the pocket, I can almost guarentee that Colorado covers.

Texas WILL not lose this game, not saying they cover the 27, but no way, no how does UT lose. Hate on the Horns all you want, call them choke artist, call them want ever you want, but they WILL NOT lose to Colorado tomarrow.

unless CU has completely given up, they will keep this game closer than the first game. Texas really has no need to win by 50. there's no pollster to impress. there's no way texas is moving up to the #1 spot unless USC loses (which wont happen)....and Mack has to know VY is out of the heisman race now.

this game is simply a step to get to the NC game against USC.
texas just needs a win. it doesnt have to be by a huge margin.
just enough that they can cruise to a victory and the backups can get some spot play in the 4Q.

i think CU will cover this +28. i dont expect an upset...it might even be a backdoor cover, but i dont see a 40 pt blowout.

Young is too good, with too talented a team around him to lose to a team like colorado

I think UCLA has a better chance against USC

Colorado will get kicked iun the teeth with Texas running game and they dont have the offense to stick with Texas IMO

Ok, so let's say Colorado makes it a close game (but Texas wins by a FG or TD) while USC clows UCLA's doors off. You think the line of -6.5/-7 for the NC game will go up then or stay at a TD?

I got a prop bet open from the begining of the season:

Colorado to win the Big 12 $50 to win $750.

If I thought there was any, any shot of this Colorado team pulling the upset, I'd let it ride. Given that I think UT will absolutely destory CU, is there any way to hedge this bet and guarentee some money given there is no ML on this game at either of my books? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Only thing I could think of is to risk $6-700 on TX ML. it won't pay much but then you have some money rather than flushing the $50 down the toilet :flush: .
