box, i'd bring the midget strippers down there but it's not that type of party. ha!

you won't find a better barbeque joint for a Texas style wedding than the salt lick but i love that place for didn't reasons than most. you can't find a better drive or much better atmosphere (you'll know what i mean). plus it's bring your own beer and all you can eat!

enjoy the day boxster. i would love to slide through and greet you but i have prior obligations. don't forget to post those pics when you return! cheers. :)

Hudson Valley area.....NY
reporting from austin.at the courtyard marriott.got in late..2 hour delay at o'hare on a connecting flight.arrived last nite at 10.00pm it was 89 degrees.and its may.went straight to the sonic near the hotel.my aunt who is with my mother has never been in texas.we ordered.she was in the back saying.."where are we going to eat" we can't eat in the car...c'mon is this a joke..my aunt is 81 and ate her 1st meal in a car.
i ate a sonic burger No 1 and a foot long cheeze coney.wow. miss those so much.
all my boys are flying in today so I'll be making a few trips to the airport. my daughters house is 5 minuts from the airport.
at o'hare we were stuck for 2 hours. I walked around the airport trying to kill time.I can only take so much of my mom and aunt.so i go off and see "backrubs for $10 for 15 minuts. i never did this.so i do it. i put my face down and they start rubbing your back and neck.it felt so food. i was in la-la land...and then i heard my aunt...saying to my mother.."is that Box...my mother says no..my aunt says..yes it is...and they start walking over to my chair.i can't raise my head because my face is planted in the face holder..my aunt and mom come right over to me and say..look at this..is your back ok Box...my mom says you want another 15 minuts...ahhh. I'm dying..can't get away from them in one of the biggest airports in the world..

anyway..taking my son and his girlfriend to see the UT campus.this afternoon over 300 kids from my daughters elementary school are having a wedding shower for my daughter in the cafeteria.the principal invited all of us there. my daughter doesn't know.there going to call her down to the cafeteria while her class has art.they have a marichi band and 20 parents of her class will be there.I think thats great.sarah teaches in a poor district in austin. 95% of her kids are hispanic.dad is looking foward to this today.i know she is a great teacher..

thank you all for the nice comments.that means a lot to me.and thanks for the suggestions.Nosiger and kneifli...like those moves in your post lol
UT longhorn...do drop in. its at the mansion..i'd be honored.
take care..will udate. thank you all again..

Box, skip lunch at Jack's place and head over to Threadgill's. Awesome home cooking, Texas style!

Wish I could have made it out Box... I do think I had one for every member here at MJ's this weekend. Alcohol goes down much easier at the lake.

Hope the wedding and reception went well and the BBQ was to your liking.

...cannot believe that I missed this!!!

Box, one of the classiest members here goes to Texas to give away his little girl and the Texans on the board come out en masse. Southern hospitality at its finest. ;)

The story about the massage was great.... LMAO!!! :SIB

Glad that you enjoyed yourself, Box. You deserve everything good that's bestowed upon you, brother. One of a hand full that reaps what he sows.... All the best for the new union and extended family. Congratulations and God Bless. ;)

...will respond further in the other thread later.
