"Wow, now all of a sudden you are saying we are not safer? Sounds like you now admit it's inevitable we will get hit here - not the case before when you were making the case for the administration. Interesting."
++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Chad I have always said it is just a matter of time before we get hit again.

--and for the record I also said--our homegown Muslim element will also be a prob

as far as safer now than before--I can only say looking the other way was not the answer--

--and don't believe the liberals current stance--of limiting gov survailence--and enhancing terrorists rights is the answer either.

I have been quite satisfied with this admin position of going on offensive vs sitting back and doing nothing.

---and I know the terrorist preferred the way it was before.

--wonder why Europe has had all the heat from muslims since 911 and we haven't--especially in light of Euro's muslim/immigration pro attitude--in the past ;)

--as matter of fact had not we went on offensive we would now have another rouge state Lybia with nukes--unless you think carter and clinton could have smooth talked them out of it. :)

More later, but one thing I'd like to clarify, Wayne. Are you suggesting that liberals (whoever they are) are against surveillance of terrorists in general, or merely against not following the constitution and laws on the books to allow surveillance with easily obtainable court orders - AFTER the surveillance is done if terror connections (or even questionable connections, for gosh sakes) are suspected?

Big difference, we've discussed before, and yet you continue to gloss over the issue.

More fuzzy english, methinks.

What I'm saying it was the leaders of the dem party--mostly liberals--fighting tooth and nail to limit survailence--reduce interrogation of terrorist to name rank and jihad # --provide the attorneys before questioning ect ect isn't going to get it done in this day and time.

--and they have the audacity to claim they are strong on terror?? yea right-- Hell one of their candidates thinks terrorism is a myth--and another thinks answer is paying them off by doubling aid to them--and the 3rd changes opinion every other week??

Picture in your mind for a moment photo's of hilliary-edwards-obama and pelosi and reid

Now exactly what I'd see instilling fear or respect from anyone.

Total misrepresentation of what he said, AND YOU AND WEASEL BOTH KNOW IT. You flat out lie to attempt to push your point of view. I think most people understand this around here.

So, to clarify, you are not suggesting any liberal is against surveillance, just the illegal kind, right?

What limits are liberals putting on surveillance? Is there legislation pending as such? Has there been? Or just a call to follow the constitution and existing laws (that conservatives like yourself say is so important when the topic suits you)?

What interrogation legislation that only permits name/rank/jihad # has been put in action, or even requested, by a liberal or legislator?

Who in the democratic party PROVIDED an attorney to terror suspects before questioning?

"etc., etc., etc." These are claims you continue to make, just want you to clarify, if you care to. I know what you're trying to do, but it's just not the truth, sorry. It's spin, and it's not on point. Unless you care to be specific, that is, and address your own assertations?

Another issue you touch on - (talk about the drive by media  - ) Obama's suggestion to "double foreign aid" and pay "them" off. I would still like to hear the plan, and what he would suggest. I still maintain that it would make A LOT of sense to revisit our entire foreign aid structure, and perhaps reallocate it to countries who take an active role on terrorism assistance. Measurable, verifiable measures and uses of our aid. I don't know what his plan is, but at face value, it does make some sense. Especially if you take away the same amount, or more, from countries that do not verify what they are doing.

Following the Constitution, existing laws, and keeping government out of your personal life sounds like something true conservatives should be embracing.

True, dat, as long as it is laws they care about at the time - that's for should. Again, this group of conservatives have both a selective memory, and selective support for the constitution and laws of the country our soldiers are fighting for - and hoping to spread to others.

Another thing that's for should, is that Dick Cheney sure wants to keep government out of his business office, of late. It's only a part of government when it comes time to fund it to the tune of a few million dollars. He sure changed his tune when that was looked at closely, eh? But I digress...sorry.

This administration and clowns like Wayne and Gary are not true conservatives. They are bigots in conservative clothing. True conservatives value less government, the Constitution, which includes seperation of church and state and less taxes.

These clowns support a theocracy. These clowns support God in government. These clowns support limitless government spending on a war wherein they and their friends profit.

They misrepresent and lie. The bottom line is that Wayne and Gary would like to see this country as a white, male dominated, 19th centuryesque, land, with no sand *******, *******, jews, spics, etc. In a word, they are psychotic.

No they don't know it Smurph. This is the problem. They get there talking points and have no ability to break them down with their own mind and see what it is all about. You think they are lying but this is their honest thoughts.

Lets see...axis of evil, 2 out of the 3 have/are developing nukes right under the nose of this admin. What has their response been? Waste all of our people and resources on the one that wasn't. Brilliant.

Yeah, I already did that a while back. I showed the entire quote and it was obvious that he was not downplaying or dismissing the threat of terror. Rather, he was accurately describing the way Bush has taken advantage of the threat through slogans and rhetoric. He called for a more thorough STRATEGY instead of rhetoric and bumper stickers. You probably never read his entire quote or my post ...you certainly never replied to it. If I repost it here right now you'll probably again not respond, but instead wait a couple months and then start with the biased Edwards attacks again.;) :)

Maybe you look like them, if they grab you, you sound like that creep HELLAH that used to be here.

The Nation of Islam, another racist bunch like Al & Jesse.

I just saw this. Are you trying to group me with al & jesse ? I don't think anyone can read what I write and go that way. If you have ever read anything that I have written about those two, I don't know how you can come to that conclusion ?
