I have the same exact issue on MadJacks. I do not have to double 'back-click' on any other site other than MJ's.

I will try the restart and pray method as well.

There is a problem and we've had it before. It's a damn hard thing to find for the techs too because not everybody has the problem. Try opening a thread and leave it open for about 5 minutes, then try the back button. You have to click it several times before it works. It has something to do with the banners refreshing or some shit.

On the course!
I have the issue in IE, but not when I use Chrome.

It just works differently and better, IMO.

What method do you use to post a pic?

Reboot & Pray - Works a lot more times than it probably should.

From a different site who removed this and it started working, " I remember someone mentioning socialspark along with this double click back button thing before."

Once they took off socialspark things improved

no space between < img and it will post the picture of the url that you designate.

Using this method you can also adjust the size of the picture or you can leave it out completely

Our banners were causing the back button issue but there was something wrong in the database server that was root of the problem.

I don't remember exactly what it was and had a hard time with my webhost getting it fixed. Their back button worked therefore it was the users on this end, of course.

I kept accepting that there wasn't a problem but more and more members kept complaining about it. I wasn't having any problem either.

Finally me and my host got to yelling at each other about it, he made his techs dig deeper and they finally figured it out after about a week.

Now here we go again

Hopefully they keep a record of everything done to my servers, then the issue will be fixed right away.

I don't know much about banserve but it might be in the way that they process the adclicks. That'll keep a nerd up all night when they work on that problem.

I'm not a big fan of the back button and just click the Home ? Forums ? GENERAL ? General Discussion Forum ? links that are on the top of the page. That way it refreshes any new data on the forum page.

Clicking General Discussion Forum above is just like clicking the back button

Or just use the Message Board link on the left

I use the button on the bottom right if I am going to stay in the same forum or use that drop-down to take me directly to another forum, otherwise I click "New Posts". I never use the back button for anything.
