I like the old way, where they cram ALL the games in on New Years Eve and New Years day.

The way they run the show now, people lose their asses because they are betting games they never would have even thought of betting.

It used to be all the good games were Jan 1st and the Chanpionship was Jan 2nd or 3rd. Now the damn Chanpionship game is Jan 10th and they have games Jan 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th. Its absolutely stupid they way it is now.

In 5 years the Championship will be Feb 1st.

I would move the other 2 non championship matchups up to New Years Eve and New Years day and boot the Ticket City bowl out. Why are Northwestern and Texas Tech playing on New Years day. Also, more flexibiity on matchups. Boise should be playing on New Years day and not in the San Diego County Credit Union Thrifty Car Rental Sea World Poinsettia Bowl. New Years eve night used to be the Sugar Bowl. Who remembers watching ND/Alabama for all the marbles?

I miss the days when the bowl games were just....

the Bluebonnet Bowl
the Garden State Bowl
the Tangerine Bowl
the Cherry Bowl
the Orange Bowl
the Sun Bowl

...and so on.....absolutely hate the fact that the sponsors have to get their names in the bowl.

I don't mind all the pre new years ones but the ones after that are ridiculous. New Years day should be finale except for maybe the "BCS Championship". Oh and bring back the Astro Blue Bonnet Bowl:toast:

I think football season should start a week or two later and not have the long wait before bowl games start for most teams. Poor kids have enough football practice, especially those playing for little. Only the premier bowls should be played after Dec 31st. More games on the 31st and 1st.
As long as i'm not footing the bill it doesn't matter how many Bowl games there are. No different than watching the MAC games thru the regular season.:shrug: But would like an "AND ONE" game to determine the National Championship with the top 4 matching up in early Jan and the finals a week later. Not a fan of a 8-16 team play off, especially 16

im a degenerate so i dont mind all the action everynight!!!!

i would bet on just abuot anything, even if it was two terrible teams like BYU vs UTEP in something dumb like the new mexico bowl. I would take utep all day plus the points
