You never answered my question.
I know you had to be watching Sosa & McGwire when they were in that home run derby year ?

You are a tough old geezer, your name fits you. Enjoy your evening !

"The Mover",

Yes Sir I watched...only to later learn is was all a fa?ade..

The game will never ever have the same importance to me..

I haven't watched 3 innings in the last 10 years.

and this coming from a man who lived..slept and absorbed the game for nearly 50 years.

Why? The ball didn't belong to him, he just randomly hit it. Couldn't you use an extra $100,000 or more?
It's not about the ball, that's just a commemorative token of a great personal accomplishment. I see no reason to keep something that really has no real meaning or value to me just to extort money from the one person that earned the trophy. Certainly I could use the amount of money you suggested, who here couldn't, but it's not going to adversely affect my life if I never caught the ball in the first place. I'll still live out my life exactly as I was going to anyway.

Hope this helps,
FDC

Thats exactly the point. A 225 lb man who runs a 4.6 forty now bulks up to a 275 lb man running a 4.6 forty. So yeah, it has EVERYTHING to do with it
