The Leafs win the series they beat Ottawa

The Quarter Finals are about to start.........
Leafs are pretty big underdogs against Florida. Leafs around +160 odds to win the series.
Well these odds make sense.
The odds make perfect sense, Florida is the best team in the NHL, and they are the faves to win it all, so yep the odds make sense.
Hope I am wrong but I don't think the Leafs have much of a chance, Florida is just toooooooo good. I think the Leafs will win maybe two games (most likely one) but that's it. But hey, I have been wrong before, so hope I am wrong again, there is a reason Florida are the faves to win the Stanley Cup, they are not weak anywhere, they are a juggernaught.
The only positive is the Leafs have almost no pressure on em now, they are expected to lose, so I guess you can say they can "play loossey goosey". I mean the Leafs always have tons of pressure on em, so now that they have almost no expectations on em to win, that could mean something. I am "grasping at straws" trying to find a way the Leafs win the series and that is only thing I can come up with, no pressure. Well the Leafs are better in net, so I guess that is two things, so hey there is another positive.
So yep, hope I am wrong, but I think Florida wins this series rather easily. I think the Leafs would beat Carolina and Washington, but sadly they have to play Florida, dammit!

Game 1 is almost upon us........
Well if you are going to pull off the upset and knock out the Panthers, ya pretty much gotta win Game 1, so yeah let's win Game 1.
Leafs gotta win ugly and I am all for that. The Panthers are better pretty much everywhere, the Leafs are better in goal (Woll and Stolarz are rock solid) and that is pretty much it. So yes, when you are outmatched everywhere, ya gotta win ugly.
The Ottawa series was tame, this one won't be tame at all, Florida is a "mean team" and of course they have the dirtiest player in the league in Marchand, so Leafs gotta not back down, I mean even goon it up if ya have to, do whatever you can to win ugly. I'd be fine with some old school 1971 bench clearing brawls, maybe some Pat Burns charge at Barry Melrose mullet kind of thing (only long time Leaf fans will get that reference), anything, I'm up for anything.
Bring on the boring "clutch and grab" and "trap" New Jersey Devils 2003 stuff, dump puck in and keep four back and make it super boring, again I am up for ugly ugly playoff hockey, anything to win.
I mean how about some spies hanging around Florida dressing room checking out sticks, let's try for an illegal stick penalty. It has been like 20 years since there was an illegal stick penalty, again, try anything, win ugly!
Also hopefully Matthews hand is better, he clearly couldn't shoot the puck with any pace in Games 5 or 6, obviously need Matthews to be able to fire the puck at top notch speeds if have any chance of beating Florida.

Needs to be some line-up changes for Game 1 against the Panthers. I think Berube needs to put in Mr. Clarke in the line-up. Now I know Wendel is 58 years old and has a messed up back, I mean he can't even touch below his knees his back is so messed up, but yep, I think the Leafs need Wendel for this series. Yep, time to put him in the line-up.
This series will be nasty, lots of cheap shots and big hits, so yep time for Mr. Clarke to come back and rejoin the Leafs.
And yes almost nobody on here knows who Mr. Clarke is, but if you want to know just watch the first 4 minutes of this video.....
