Republican Party is in real shambles....sensible-minded moderates like Senator John Danforth back in the late 80's are non-existent in the GOP now. It seems like the GOP is steered by the likes of nitwit Limbaugh and the intolerant, out of touch religious right. Someone mention that our system works best when two parties are on equal foot. That's very true. Even after last eight years of calamiity, the country will be better off if the Republicans can get their party in order and provided a effective counter-balance to the Democratics.

The GOP some how got in trouble with to much narrow thinking. LIke it or not that is how many look at them. The GOP needs a better message then there tax and spend one. It,s just old news. And it,s just not me thinking that way. LOOK at the polls. Listen to others then FOX news and a couple radio shows. Yes you will here if your a REB just what you need to. But the other 80% or none REB,s are not paying attention. And thats a big problem for GOP.
