Jack are you looking to buy one? My wife is in a book club and 4-5 ladies have them and love them.

You'd think they'd drop the price a little at least. Ads seem to showing up more and more for the Sony Reader.

Getting one for my mom for Christmas. I keep checking to see if they reduced the price, I guess that aren't. Yeah, she'll love it, she reads a lot.

I'm not sure if all the kindle's have the feature to increase font size (you would think they would).

I would definitely make sure your mom's had that feature.

The ladies in my wife's group are mostly all in their 40's and even they use that feature all the time.

I know there are a lot for sale on ebay, but I've never checked the prices.

I have seen advertised specials of $199 for the Sony reader

I would suggest you go to Best Buy or similar stores, look at both, ask them questions about the best features that would suit your mom:shrug:

They both are awesome and as much as I read would think I would go this route but still old school and like to hold my books:scared
