It is time for Human events to get real. Side with real conservatives, and quit trying to fool them. This letter is nice, but irrelevant in a campaign that ignores facts anyway. We have two horrible pro-big government candidates and no CYA letter written 2 years ago is going to make John Mccain a viable Republican candidate.
Those who voted for Mccain in the primaries are to blame. You did this to us, we had viable candidates who might have resuscitated this dying party. Stop the defeated sputtering, we lost and we deserve it. Hopefully the loss will be the kick in the pants conservatives and Republicans need.
I will vote for Mccain because I believe Obama will socialize healthcare, but I will not for one second submit myself in support of a candidate, and a party who has abandoned it's base. John Mccain is a good man and a war hero, but he will never be a conservative president. I will vote for Mccain but I will not utter one word to an undecided voter, nor contribute one red cent to his campaign, because he has embarrassed our movement and our future with his candidacy. He is not to blame, those of you who voted for him in the primary are.

Pretty much dead on from where I sit.
Actually, yes but I have mostly avoided commenting on this Presidential election as I feel that our choices are the worst in my lifetime. However, I do find some consolation in the fact that I have been planning my exit strategy for some time. Are you even a US citizen anymore?

We will miss you.
For some strange reason I don't believe this.I don't like foreigners

I never lived in the US until I was 14 years old and as a result of my childhood influences, have never felt as "American" as most people around me. Make no mistake, I am ready to get the f*ck out.
probably smartest comment in forum this year.
Sad thing is it will get worse--not enough tax payors to offset those paying no taxes + illegals.
Consider tax revenue will 0 chance of increasing in next few years--
You have ssn-medicare/medicade running deficits and will get worse --and instead of trying to make these solvent--want to add the grandaddy of all healthcare reform?
