I echo the comments above. I liked that the movie kept me interested. I hated the way it ended. I dont like open ended stories. That's just me though.

In the end, 'Gone Girl' echoes what experience has taught,
in that with marriage you think you are getting what you desire
when in reality you are getting what you deserve...
