It's ludicrous to claim excellent handicappers are leaving the forum because of Sponges presence. I say prove it.
JUdge, im gonna address some of you questions and theories because yesterday i had the brown bottle flu. The contest i was suggestion was for a couple of reasons. One was for the site and if a few of us got in it at a sponsored book it would be good for the site. You say you are not comfortable letting someone have your password? I wasn't talking about any poster i was talking about someone like IE (just throwing out a name IE) You say you have a bunch of outs and look for the best lines and it surprised you that i would be vulnerable to even do something like this. Judge i don't know about you but im surprise you don't know what books favor your capping style. I don't need ten books to know which one will have the best lines for me. If im a dog player im gonna hang out at SIA, Bowman, or Bdog, If I am favorite wagerer its the Greek, Cris, or the old pinnacle. You say that you like to put other wagers in well why not put them in one of your other books? That is what i would be doing. You yourself stated you have other outs. Here is my problem with your standard contest idea. Lets say i like a college game 9pm at. I finally decide to bet it around 845. Do i have to use a line from back at 12 pm when it could be three points different? That is why i want real time wagering.
Now here is an idea i will run by you. I'm willing to get in the Hilton contest with you and the guy with the best record has to pay the other's fees. If you need to bet more we can talk about that. Now in this contest all my picks will be in ahead of time just like yours. I would have to run this by my uncle tho to see if he could put my picks in which i don't see as a problem. Your serve

The problem in a contest like this is the lines that are used , as Judge has been known to shave and add on to a few to his advantage.
and he dont know that much about college or NFL except to call old ball coach a dipstick.
Not surprisingly, KOD seems to still have his panties in a wad over some comment I made about Spurrier a couple of years ago but I?m not sure where the ?shave and add on? comment comes from.

1. There is simply no way that I am going to limit my plays to the lines from a single book. Regardless of books favoring capping styles, I have lost enough games in my life by a half point to know better than this.
2. I have no desire or inclination to allow someone access to my account for the purpose of verifying my wagers in a contest. This is a gambling forum and any contest held here should be limited to plays posted on this site.
3. Your comment about the 12 pm line versus the line when you want to make the wager makes no sense. Of course you can use the best line available. You simply post where you got the line at the time you post your play. Plays can be posted right up until kickoff with the best line available at the time of the post.
4. The Hilton Contest idea is a good one but unfortunately, my main focus will be on NCAA Football and not the NFL. I would guess that I made somewhere around 25 wagers on NFL games last year.
I am not sure why you can not agree to a contest format that has been used in practically every forum contest that I have seen over the past several years. There really is no need to reinvent the wheel. Let?s base the contest on a set number of picks each week with a minimum and maximum number of units per play and all plays having to be posted at Mad Jack?s. We are both online here enough that this should not be a problem.

Im not sure why you have this big problem of having one account monitored by a guy we both agree on even tho i have only been here for less than a year yet you are certain that every line i post on a game is gonna be straight up and honest.:shrug: If you can't do the Hilton than i want all four major sports involved. You can pick all five games in any sport you want. The line thing is a big concern to me that is why i wanted a book to do it. Geez how about i let you have 50 books and you can add them all up at the end of the year? I will tell you what my problem is with contests on the net. I have won a few but im sick of losing because of games i had to put in by a dead line. Those contest are skill and a lot of luck. If you can figure a way to have a contest where i can have real live betting and the lines are honest lines then im in. Now im not saying i believe this or if Scotty is breaking balls but to hear a guy say someone shaves lines is not exactly the thing im looking for. Again im not saying you do this but he said it and boy have i seen this done on sites before. Now as for my honestly which seems to be a question with some of the haters, i ran a contest on Aol with my money. It was 25 dollars a week prize with a 500 prize at the end. I paid ever penny. I am almost positive i have seen a few posters that post here that were in that contest. I have to go into my notes (if i still have them but i think i do) and check out the names. My whole deal here is i want a fair and honest contest with real lines at the time of the wagers. Now where and how can we achieve this? You call it reinventing the wheel? I call it a straight forward legit contest on the way i and everyone that has a book wagers. You say you don't want to limit your plays in a contest from a book with one set of lines then in the next breath you can't understand why i won't get in a simple contest that is usually run by a site. Which means one line from a book that previously you didn't want to do.:shrug:
Oh Agent im sure you ran a bunch of guys out of here too. Im not sure where some of these guys come up with chit like this. Guys like this say this to get a site owners attention. They are on every site. The real problem is that they are so use to getting their way in life and nobody's opinion but there's is all they will hear. They thrive on trying to gag the debate if it is not their very own thoughts. The problem is that im not their wife or weak friend they can just walk all over like they are use to in their life.

It keeps saying i have to give more out. How many do i have to give out to get back to the people i want to give them to? Funny thing is some of these greens i got i almost fell on the floor in shock. I kinda want to respect people privacy who gave me a green but the one i got was the funniest of all. It almost killed him to give it to me. He must have thought about it for days.:mj07: I question him on it and he agreed that it was very very painful to send. He should know what im talking about and i sincerely believe this bothered him:mj07: I like the guy too. By the way Agent all your stuff you send is gray and i think you like it that way. How do i know if it is green or not. Everyone you send starts with "here dickwad" or "here tool" and of course "here scumbag". If these are green ones i can't imagine what the red ones say.

I gave you a green once, and I also gave the incredible douche (only insult I know apparently) a green one once. Absolutely killed me to do it too. I don't dislike anyone at all, not part of my make up. I do like to give people grief once in a while and you seem to get your fair share of the brunt of it, but you really haven't been that grating lately. Also, the incredible on cannot give green because he is not green himself.

Being that you trust nobody on the site you make up a contest and i will look it over. It kinda looks like you have a problem with a monitored contest so i will wait and see what you want to do. I will look for something also.
