Announcers can make or break a game. The guy doing the UNC game is horrible. Seems like he's doing a game I watch every week. My least favorite the last few years is Ed Cunningham. Also, I used to like Mike Patrick way, way...way back. Last several years I can't stand him.
There are several that I do like and I miss Brent Musburger.....he was really good early in his career...then I got where I didn't like him that much...and then the last several years of his career I really liked him again. He became sort of a caricature of himself is the way I describe him and I loved the way he'd always mention the line and everyone knows Brent usually takes the favorite lol. Love Herbstreit too.
The guy I miss the most is Keith Jackson. I also miss Vern Lundquist. Gary Danielson is ok but he gets on my nerves every so often. Brad Nessler is great. Gus Johnson is amazing. Todd Blackledge I like a lot...love it when they do "Todd's 'Taste of the Town'"
I'm forgetting a bunch and I'm rambling. I love the female sideline reporters but for the most part, and it might just be who they've got doing the games....I'm not a big fan of them actually announcing the game. Pam Ward is decent but maybe that's a stretch. Maybe its b/c I know its noon and I don't care about whatever Big Ten game is on so I just switch it knowing I've got 12+ hours of football ahead of me hahahaha
