almost comical that everyone has annointed this kid already. Give me Dwight Howard over him to build my team..

Also Lebron is not even in the same ball park as Kobe :nono: Not yet at least

In the kids defense this isnt his fault but it is like everyone in the NBA is instructed to brainwash us.

He can't shoot, and most of the time all he does is go right because he can't finish with his left or going left. It is tough to get around someone when they are playing 3 feet off of you.

Even if he did get fouled, and the officials called it, does anyone truly believe he would've made both? I don't think I've ever seen Lebron make two free throws in a pressure situation. Cleveland will never win a title with Lebron, because the offense runs through him, and the guy is a mediocre free throw shooter at best.

Yeah, the kid is barely in his 20's, to hell with Lebron, he might be the worst player in the league also, ALL the great players won a ring in their first year or 2 didn't they. He wont get better at all in the coming years and will not get any better help around him either in the years to come, CLeveland might as well just get rid of him now because he is so ****n terrible

WHAT!!!!!! Dont u guys Talk about the KING like that . :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: lol, yes he's terrible in the last 2 games, the first game is a heartbreaker, he should of just take the ball to the basket and get the safe 2 and hoping for a foul , u never know. that could be the game or atleast bring it to OT. But too greedy and going for the win from 3. :com:

Bottom line is, He's too overated

No one said hes a bust..maybe if your getting the largest endorsments and huge contract you can come through in the clutch. Sure hes young, but with the money comes the pressure and spotlight.

All im saying is he lacks the mid range game badly! He can shoot the threes descent whens hes not drigting, but he has no 10 - 18 foot jumper none. Thats the diff between him and kobe, that and kobe wants the ball in his hands with the game on the line.. lebron looks like he is scared on the foul line.

James is a point forward. He is more comfortable passing and making his teammates better. With time and experience he will gain the confidence to make the free throws in the big games. He may be a bit overhyped, but he is the player to build a team around and he has made the mediocre players around him much better. He is not the polished shooter that kobe is, but kobe doesn't help his teammates get better so he doesn't get to be clutch at the end of the game, because his team cannot get him there. Notice I use the word team alot, because this is a team sport and James gets that.
At the end of game 1 James played team ball and completed the play his coach drew up for the 3 ball. He was not scared to take the shot himself. And in game 2 the important no-call was when Wallace fouled Anderson V on the offensive end and then made the tough shot. James was fouled on the last play, but the refs have chosen to let teams play in the last minute and call very few fouls.

If you watch that play in slow motion, it was a horrid shot. Just basically jumped into rip and threw up some garbage hopin to get a lucky bounce.

The facts are the cavs are down 0 - 2.. time for Lebrick to step it up

Both calls at the end were correct. That flop with Variso was a flop and nothing else. He spends more time on the ground during the game than ginobbli. The second play with Rip wasn't a foul at all. Rip had his hands straight in the air. I do love the Cavs on the money line tonight. They aint gonna let their boy get swept or go down 3-0. Its easy money fellas you just have a horrible team. The James Hype will be back in full force after this game because you won't be able to get withing 15 feet of him and i see Prince with two fouls very quickly. watch what he gets away with tonight and the hype machine will be right back on track.

How do you explain that? Lucky I guess.....

In no way do I agree with Sponge's blowhard rants and conspiracy theories. In fact, Sponge annoys me until the end of time w/ his know-it-all style and horrific grammar. But, I am not here to tout Lebron as the best in the game, b/c I do not feel that he is there. I recognize his enormous physical gifts, court awareness and basketball IQ. Still, he is not fluid defensively and I have very little confidence in his jumper. The jumper will come, but his defense will never be ALL NBA caliber IMO.

Either way, all the crap a/b him passing up the game-winning shot in Gm 1 is total bull$hit. Lebron made the proper play. If Donyell Marshall hits the shot, then Lebron is being praised for not forcing his shot.

LeBron may not be "the best in the game" - but people who want to classify him as anything but one of the top players now is crazy - not only that, but he has the potential to be one of the best ever - really not sure how anyone can debate that, think it takes a very limited understanding of the game itself

Continued gl to all during this postseason stretch

why dont you go read how i said that game three would go down. Looked like a lot of Detroit fans in here but i said exactly how the game would go and almost everything was right. Another bad game by the crook Billups and then he somehow always scores when the spread is not in jepordy. I said it and it happen time and time again with this crook. As for Lebron lets examine the first three plays of the game. You have no court awareness but i do. The first was an uncontested slam dunk where and again it was billups who back off for the easy slam. Points 3 and four were the same thing. A slam dunk in which all the guys just let him in. Points 5 and six were a phanton foul on Rip where in now way this was a foul. Of course he missed the second shot so this was only point five. That is how you get a guy started in this league and the hype moves on. His two jumpers at the end were nice. He starts doing that and he will start deserving the hype. By the way slick go with Cleveland game two money line. Gonna be the same ole shit and i wouldn't be surprised if Cleveland doesn't win this series. And guess what they fuking stink and Detroit could kill them anytime they want.

:com: Dwight Howard ?

I can't think of anyone who has come into the league with as much hype as Lebron. My god, we had to watch this kid play high school ball on ESPN. Takes a special kind of individual to handle that much pressure and still be able to deliver. He is single handily making a run at the NBA finals. His supporting cast is a joke. Like it or not, He is the future of the NBA. The best I've ever seen in my life-time was Jordan and I'm not so sure he was as good as Lebron at this stage of his career. He is a phenom to say the least..
