terrible! she needs a spanking.

reminds me of my nephew (sister's son). on his 16th birthday, 1996, (granted, it wasn't a car like that) I picked up a 1971 Impala in garage kept mint condition from one of my old hearing aid customers whose hubby died. I would have LOVED THAT car, even now.

he didn't want the f'in thing. HE wanted a pick-up and would not drive it.

and we were all excited, just like they were in the video, to surprise him with it and he acts the same way. UNBELIEVABLE!

spoiled brats!

I can only promise one thing if that happened with a kid of mine. She wouldn't have a red car anymore. And I would never buy her another one.

I only hope I teach my children better than this.

Can't really blame her. That happened to me once too. How can the parents be so unsensitive? If they were listening to their daughter a little more, then this nightmare never would have happened. It's a tough world for these kids nowadays. Just imagine the ridicule and isolation she will suffer all because of her selfish parents.

My 15 Yo Daughter gets her license in 2 months, she is inheriting the car that I drive to work with, 1990 Chrysler LaBaron, with 210,000 miles on it. Runs great, no rust yet, it is old, but for what she needs it for it will work fine. Bitched and moaned for a month about how she didn't want it. I finally had enough and told her either get a job (or 2) to buy what you want, or I'll sell it and she won't have one to drive at all. (we have 2 other vehicles that she won't be allowed to drive)
My how she changed her tune then. I'm only 34YO and I don'r recall anyone when I went to HS acting like some of these kids do. Am I getting old or are times changing?

Look how the mother sides with the daughter. First she's walking the brat out of the house with a big smile on her face and, when the brat starts to throw her tantrum, she sides with the daughter, turns against her husband and leaves.
You can see how the daughter got that way.

I'd get a divorce :142smilie

Wow, what a complete spoiled little bitch. My first car was a hand me down. In 1986 my father gave me our old family car, a 1966 plymouth fury. I was happy as could be to have a car...rust and all. It was an ugly car but the trunk was so big I was appointed "Keg hauler" for all parties.

For any kid to turn down a brand new car because it's the wrong color only means one thing; she got anything and everything she wanted when she was a child. Just because you're wealthy doesn't mean you're a good parent.

I remember kids like this. We just didn't get to see videos of the actual moment.

AR -- I was kind of suspect of it being fake, too.
