Think you're having a bad day? You've got nothing on Justin Hill.
The 42-year-old Rock Island, Tennessee man can not-so-proudly boast of having some of the worst few hours in recent memory. His ultimate terrible day happened last Tuesday night, as the 42-year-old headed home near the dinner hour.
He was just turning into his driveway, when his car collided with another vehicle heading along his street. The impact left him with injuries serious enough to require a stay in hospital.
His wife, who was inside the family home at the time cooking dinner, heard the crash and came out to investigate the source of the noise. She was so horrified by what she saw that she forgot about her meal sizzling away on the stove.
Within minutes, the trailer the couple shared was on fire and crews had to be called to put out the flames.
Now the pair has a burned-out home, a destroyed car and a hospital bill to contend with. And as if that isn't bad enough, there's the final straw in this story of terrible judgment and just plan bad luck. Hill has since been charged in the original accident. Police say it was his fault, since he failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
It may be little consolation for those back at the grind on Monday, but it just might make whatever you're going through seems a little less severe.
