That's not true. I am not and was not trying to make a case either way. I'm positive I was quite clear that I thought there were several ways to avoid this unfortunate incident.
I added a point asking basically did it occur to anyone else that, after all accounts given, the reload seemed a bit of a difficult maneuver? That's not paranoia, it's an assumption on your part absolutely, but no paranoia on mine. I stated I didn't see what happened so I read the officer's account and that struck me as odd. Just as it struck me as odd that he didn't wait for back up and suddenly just started forcing him from his vehicle. Maybe I should be more gullible and believe everything I hear or read a cop say because they're not human, they're cops. Above reproach or question and should never be scrutinized only obeyed. I guess you're right, with that attitude there's no way ever that anyone would take license with others liberties and freedoms.

Listen, I don't care that this kid, or many like him, get shot by the cops. I simply don't care. They have agendas, and sometimes your agenda goes not the way you would like. Showing a cop your license when he asks you for it, isn't creating the downfall of your "liberties and freedom".

Then again, I might just be wrong, and this kid was just another patriot willing to risk his life for our freedom. At least he died doing what he loved.

While Eddie is a very funny guy, I believe he and I are still friends. Consequently, I don't believe he was being completely serious when he said that. I am overjoyed that in some oblique fashion I've introduced a little happiness into your life. You seem like you've been on edge the last couple weeks.
On another note, I've found that simply ignoring any and all points contrary to your own always makes for a better, more well rounded individual. I can't tell you how many times I've heard that old cliche, "Ignorance is bliss". So happy for you.

After your post I re-read mine and though it was not my intent to insinuate you're gullible, I can see where you might have thought it was directed at you. I don't think you're gullible by any stretch. I am not trying to say that the kid shouldn't have just handed over his license, I would have, it would have certainly helped ease tensions.
Anyway, I apologize for the misunderstanding and all that, rest assured I don't think you're gullible at all.

I like MSNBC.

I feel they slant their stories more towards my liberal views which makes me feel warm on the inside.

They also poke fun at the conservative base which makes me laugh and feel like I'm much more intelligent than that group. On stories that I don't have opinions on, they clearly let me know how I should feel about those situations.

Thankfully I have accepted the fact that I hate Fox News and White Men.
