Just another Dumb Punk, these kids with their cell phone videos are looking for fame.

Well, the kid got 5mins of fame anyway......sad thing is there will be more dumbass know it all's to take his place.....Cop had backup on the way, no need to attempt to drug his ass out of the car unless there was a weapon in sight.... sit tight and overwhelm the kid with powers in number.....:0008

Cell phones.

Too many people think those cameras on their phones make them bullet proof, and allow them to be able to run their sewers.

This little shit figured, "If I am filming, the cop will go away". He was wrong.

I've seen the thread. I don't normally gloss over the untimely death of anyone regardless of race, culture, or class.
I just saw no reason to express my thoughts on it because they aren't too far to one extreme or the other. The kid is dead and killed by a guardian of his safety. Those that call for complete complicity to law enforcement at all times, provide no more towards an actual solution than those who advocate for anarchy. The kid pulled over didn't he? Maybe he was looking for video fame, maybe the cop lost his temper, I don't know. I didn't see what happened. I know there is more than one way that it all could have been avoided. Cop could have waited for the back up that he had made a priority to dispatch earlier. He could have taken the car back to adjust his headlights after his third or fourth traffic stop that night to "inform" drivers that he had a brand new car prior to hitting the jackpot on his fifth stop. I guess knowingly blinding oncoming traffic, when you're supposed to be preventing that type of thing, is solved by making unlawful traffic stops under the guise of "explaining your new lights". "Everything would have been much different if you would have just complied with the traffic stop". That sure sounds lile he was being a super nice fella, except for the fact it wasn't a lawful traffic stop as the officer admitted he'd been made aware that he was blinding oncoming traffic. Just saying, sure the kid was an idiot but the cop made several mistakes too and he got to live through it.

One other thing, how does it not bother anyone that the officer said he getting punched in the face and "felt blood in his mouth and felt that he may soon lose consciousness", yet he was able to unholster his weapon with one hand and eject and load the next round with his other hand? Just curious as to how that works with someone on top of you pummeling your face to a point you're ready to pass out. Seems like it would be hard to get one arm across your body with your attacker in the way.

Then again, we should all just comply like subordinate human beings. Yeah authority, boo liberty!

You wanted a response so there ya go.

Hope this helps,
FDC

The media in our country are the most despicable, low-life pieces of shit out there. They drive all of this....the cop hatred, racial tensions....don't misunderstand me, those things exist and need to be addressed. But the sensationalism just eggs people on to go further down those roads. The media is out of control. They take a 1 alarm fire and douse it with gallons of gasoline for self-interest and make things way worse than they need to be. They have blood on their hands from some of the recent revenge cop killings. Unethical.

Great post.
Case in point see Treyvon Martin. They purposely edited the 911 call to make it a race issue and then used the pic of Martin from when he was 11 for weeks and weeks

Sickening

I doesn't bother me, because I don't live in constant paranoia that every cop is out to kill me, or strip my "liberty".

The thing about our beliefs is, we tend to only see what helps to make our case.

So are you equally sickened that the media posted a video of an unidentified man in a scuffle with another unidentified man alleging that it was actually a video of a murder victim committing a crime prior to his death? Are you mad because they tried to make Trayvon look too innocent? So you must be furious when they try to make a murder victim, a mothers son, look guilty of a completely unrelated incident after he's dead? Especially when they lie about the identity of the person in the video, you must be really sickened now huh? And they did all that just so they could help out the murderer, they tried to make a murderer look more innocent.

I'll wait for your outrage here.

Just curious.

That's not true. I am not and was not trying to make a case either way. I'm positive I was quite clear that I thought there were several ways to avoid this unfortunate incident.
I added a point asking basically did it occur to anyone else that, after all accounts given, the reload seemed a bit of a difficult maneuver? That's not paranoia, it's an assumption on your part absolutely, but no paranoia on mine. I stated I didn't see what happened so I read the officer's account and that struck me as odd. Just as it struck me as odd that he didn't wait for back up and suddenly just started forcing him from his vehicle. Maybe I should be more gullible and believe everything I hear or read a cop say because they're not human, they're cops. Above reproach or question and should never be scrutinized only obeyed. I guess you're right, with that attitude there's no way ever that anyone would take license with others liberties and freedoms.
Your little paranoid comment was bullshit and a cheap shot dude. I said I didn't see what happened and neither did you. So I did a little reading and had a question but I'm fucking paranoid.

What the fuck ever Eric. Just please don't do shit to me I don't do to you that's all I ask.

The kid pushed the envelope trying to be a smartass and recording to prove a point.......The Cop frigged up trying to hail his ass out of the car after calling for backup.....1 kid dead and a cop who will regret and suffer the consequences from his poor choice......sad all around as it could have been resolved so easy and quickly.....

I agree with you my heavenly friend. Sensationalism attracts the average American moron which in turn improves ratings which in turn increases advertising revenues which in turn makes media corporation stockholders happy. Fox on the right and MSNBC on the left are not news channels. They are propaganda networks driven to attract those who agree with their respective positions not those who are interested in obtaining the various sides to each newsworthy story.

I know many will disagree with my next comment but I tend to think pbs and npr try to present the multiple sides to each story they cover. I like watching their news programs as they are not beholden to corporate advertisers and I believe present a fair view of the story they are covering. They are generally more boring than the mainstream media but that's what you get when you don't sensationalize stories.

The world is not black and white but rather many shades of grey as the varying opinions of this thread indicate. From chapter 5, verse 11 of the book of Eddie.

Maddening isn't it?? I've actually had him on my ignore list for a few weeks... Pure bliss

Unfortunately I am still subjugated to his rantings now and again when someone else quotes him in a reply but this time it was worth it.
