Actually, not true. Under Bill Clinton's leadership, HIPPA was passed which was a health care reform bill. And that was 1996. So, it has only been 14 years. And HIPPA had bi-partisan support, which helped make it a better bill.
Not sure why everyone thinks this bill is better - why is increasing the deficit, higher premiums, possible future rationing of health care by the government better?
As I said, making sure everyone has access to coverage is what matters - so IF people want to purchase it, they can. This can be done rather easily - why not do it while reducing costs, taxes, and the deficit - instead of the way we are doing it now? It is just non-sensical.
We'll see what happens when the Repub get majority again (they will sooner or later, just as the Dems will again have control again after that).
There isn't anyone (that I've heard of) that actually thinks this is a good bill - and most think we are in a worse situation that before. So why not repeal it?
[And Scott, I know you like to start name calling and stuff like that when someone disagrees with you (instead of intelligent conversation), so if that is what you intend on doing, save your breath (or fingers, in this case)
Learned from a certain threesome. He never used to be like this.Jack you taking notes?
