Again, I think Hoops argument that a team doesn't deserve to win if they give up 70% FG shooting makes a lot of sense.
But lets assume that it doesn't. Take a look at Arizona's three point shooting for the game. . . well below 50%. So how did Arizona shoot nearly 70% for the game? It wasn't from lucky post ups! They got the ball inside to Frye and he either put up the shot or drew the double team and passed off to a teammate underneath the basket (Adams or Radenovich). Basically, they took apart OSU's defense and took them to school. It was a damn good coaching plan to say the least as Lute knew Frye would get a lot of attention when he touched the ball.
Arizona shot nearly 70% because they had layups all night long. If you take a look at a replay of the game, I think you would agree Sun. But yeah, just like you, the stats are alarming but not if you saw the game and specifically how well Arizona broke down OSU's defense
