maybe i'm bised but i did say that either team could win and that it was as even a game as you could get

lets see:
4 shots in the final min all to put their team ahead...only the final one was off (thankfully).

sun...you "couldn't see arizona winning"....now i know why...you're biased....great game by two great teams who matched up perfectly with each other.

at least we got a neutral court Sat! for Illini!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah - they shot 70% and won by one point I was clueless. Kind of like you in those Arizona - Washington games. Any other unsolicited personal attacks you wasnt to throw out?

Again, I think Hoops argument that a team doesn't deserve to win if they give up 70% FG shooting makes a lot of sense.

But lets assume that it doesn't. Take a look at Arizona's three point shooting for the game. . . well below 50%. So how did Arizona shoot nearly 70% for the game? It wasn't from lucky post ups! They got the ball inside to Frye and he either put up the shot or drew the double team and passed off to a teammate underneath the basket (Adams or Radenovich). Basically, they took apart OSU's defense and took them to school. It was a damn good coaching plan to say the least as Lute knew Frye would get a lot of attention when he touched the ball.

Arizona shot nearly 70% because they had layups all night long. If you take a look at a replay of the game, I think you would agree Sun. But yeah, just like you, the stats are alarming but not if you saw the game and specifically how well Arizona broke down OSU's defense

I am looking from the other side. Sure they must have gotten good shots and FG D like that probably doesnt deserve a win. But how do you outrebound and outshoot and win by 1? Obviously turning the ball over, and not forcing turnovers. Considering Illinois probably has the best guard group in the country that is alarming. I wasnt claiming so much that the fg % was a fluke as much as saying the tightness of the game MUST been Az got beaten badly in other areas.

Yeah, during OSU's run in the first half to get the game even after being down by 10, it was AZ turning the ball over and OSU getting their hands out and going after steals. Part of the reason Arizona outrebounded OSU was the fact that Arizona was hitting such a high percentage of shots that there weren't very many defense rebounds possible for OSU!

My hats off to OSU definitely. . . they found ways to stay in this game like every Final Four team does and towards the end of the game I thought they were probably gonna pull it off. . . very gutsy group for Sutton.

dude this isn't a pesonal attack, realx. you said you saw no way that arizona could win....(insert any other team name if you want).....how one can say that on a pick em game is laughable.

i said either team could win and that they matched up well with each other and whoever played best during crunch time would win....fortunately that was arizona.

as for ua-uw....never did i say i couldnt see uw winning vs arizona....i hoped they didn't beat us, but them winning in wash and in la was possible and did happen.

so in the end, you're either biased toward your opinion on the osu-ua game and couldnt see the other side (which had as many strong points as your side) OR you were completely wrong in your analysis of the game since not seeing az winning means ok state should have dominated (the exact opposite basically ocurred).
