Where it is real F ing COLD
Just looking at the Texas/Tiger game....

Penny should be fricken meat against that Texas lineup.

Boston/Cleveland

Bedard - 165 vs. Masterson

Have to like the Tribe in this spot?

I think Texas wins big. Ogando has OWNED the Tigers this year, and has been LIGHTS OUT 3 out of last 4 games(@ NYY got lit up).

Might consider taking Rangers -1.5

I don't have a fuggin clue how Cleveland is making these games interesting. I've watched all 3 games so far, and the last 2 Boston has lost so many scoring opportunities on base!

Without looking at anything......not so sure TX will pound Penny that easy. Seems he's been night and day when it comes to on the road and at home. I know it was awhile ago, but he pitched pretty darn good against them back in April at home.

As far as the BoSox....that is a really high price for Bedard's first start as a Red Sock. I've always thought Bedard had good stuff and the potential to be very solid. O's and Mariners though are tough teams to do well on.....now is his chance to shine with Boston!!!

If penny doesn't pitch good he gets killed n if he pitches good he still gonna give up about 5 so question is can ogando keep the tigers 4 or below i definately thinks so

Vegas is begging for Tampa money with the short line,i'm all over the bluejays in the morning

I kind of like the over in the TOR/TB game. Both Cecil and Davis have been giving up some runs of late.

Cecil 22er in his last 27 1/3 innings
Davis 20er in his last 21 2/3 innings
Davis 3-3 5.79 era in 8 day games

Penny did pitch well against them in April but Texas was a bit sluggish to start the season. I see Penny as an average pitcher who has a difficult time fooling hitters. Last time he pitched he was rocked against the Angelsm and the previous 2 times he pitched against the Twins and Whitesox who had him on the ropes but he got out of it. I don't think Texas bats will let him off the hook but I am not playing it..

Too much of a square play.. Squares crushed it yesterday and when I crush it, it seems the next day is fair or poor. Although I have been on a 3 week cash cruise in total

Good thoughts/points. Here's some more info for yah....

Brad Penny will be making his 89th career Day Game start; today 15th this season

88 games, 31-31, 5.27era
14 games, 6-5 5.19era
July/August has been historically Pennys worst 2 months

I think the play is either Texas, or Over, or no play.

just a side note for anyone on that Bosox-Tribe game:

Bedard only getting 75-80 pitches today since coming off rehab and history of being fragile. Andrew Miller is slated as the 1st reliever to come in for multiple innings once that Bedard limit is reached

Probably throwing a little on that Texas line. Penny has always been a dud IMO

Thanks for the INFO.. One would think the Tribe would take many pitches to see what he has and to get to pen, so I would see Bedard not making it past 5 unless the Tribe come in free swinging. Hey if they see his stuff and think it is meat then by all means hack at it..

Austin Jackson, Alex Avila, Johnny Peralta, and Magglio Ordonez both not in starting lineup for Tigers today. Victor behind the plate. Rangers will be running..

Loving the Rangers play even more now.

Rangers have Murphy/Torrealba out and Blanco/Chavez in

Always wait til lineups are announced or info on lineups before making plays even at the risk of losing juice. It's so vital.
