Ok, off-topic, but I do miss ties in college football. I hate the college OT system anyway, but its been discussed.

If you aren't going to have a playoff, then you shouldn't have overtime.

Hate to see LSU lose in OT but would have also hated to see them win in OT. They should still be unbeaten but with a tie. Kind of sucks to lose the nat'l title by playing a completely different game and there is a huge advantage to winning the coin toss, just like in the NFL.

Could have been interesting strategy in the Cal game as to whether they kick a tying FG or play for the TD.

I'd prefer NFL OT but that you have to score 6 points to win. But I'd only prefer OT at all if there is a playoff.

I'd like college OT much more if they moved em back to the 40 or 50 yd line.

Yeah, but even then its still not the same game they played for 60 minutes.

I think if you are going to have OT in college, first one to 6 points wins. Maybe even first one to 5 points (just to make a safety more valuable).

:nono: winning the toss in ncaa is not near as big of an advantage as in the nfl.
