Ok, off-topic, but I do miss ties in college football. I hate the college OT system anyway, but its been discussed.
If you aren't going to have a playoff, then you shouldn't have overtime.
Hate to see LSU lose in OT but would have also hated to see them win in OT. They should still be unbeaten but with a tie. Kind of sucks to lose the nat'l title by playing a completely different game and there is a huge advantage to winning the coin toss, just like in the NFL.
Could have been interesting strategy in the Cal game as to whether they kick a tying FG or play for the TD.
I'd prefer NFL OT but that you have to score 6 points to win. But I'd only prefer OT at all if there is a playoff.
