Got tied up today and didn't get to see one live race.
I just got on the computer and RIGHT NOW, I dont' have a clue what went on today at the track. No mobile devices (is it true that peoples actually take them thangs to bed with them at night?), I HOPE that was just a joke I read and NOT reality. Too much of a good thing is really a BAD thing, really bad. See Misc. Stuff below for something interesting, Visitors.
There's no action in DullsVille so I'll have to provide my own entertainmemt so here we go...
Bets went in around 6 A.M., hosses musta been off around 12:30 p.m.
Let's see... :0030, actually, only ONE exciting, playable wace today anyways, the 8th. Races 5 and 7 were playables, but the huge favorites (IMO) were rated much too high to warrant serious bets so the small plays for them two waces were to use one of them with 2 or 3 LONGshots in zactas for each one of those two races. Top/bot, of course.
The 8th race is the race I'm looking forward to see on the replay. IF anybody is really interested in this stuff ya gotta join Mad Jacks, enter DullesVille, and let me know. For now, here's the two hosses that I WISH I coulda seen in the prerace.. nos. 5 and 9, 12/1 and 9/2 M.L. respectively. I got each in exactas and each in straight bets and the results of this 8th event will PROB. be my "bottom line" for today. "PROB" because a Philly mini Jackpot Bonanza is always a possibility for them other playables I have going.

I don't know, but our missing 2 or 3 hoss players are probably in the MAD, NCAA Bawlroom right now. I'm looking forward to the MAD, College FootsBawl Room myself :00x9 Now, for those that may be studying for hours , trying to predict if those final shot(s) are gonna fall into the basket or the other way from their perch on the rim...

Since nobody's that interesting in hosses these days, how bout something that I found VERLY interesting the other night on TV? The man, Martin Cooper, credited (rightfully so, methinks) with INVENTING the cellphone was doing a discussion. He told a lot about the development of the cellphone, even showed the first one ever made, and he mentioned how much he LUVED working at Motorola. NO, I NEVER USED THE ORIGINAL CELLPHONE,
, but I did see one; dang thang weighed over 2 POUNDS,
He also mentioned that the main objective was to git them out of the cars and really make a telephone PORTABLE. Bell Telephone was their major competitor.
Ever since that first one... their objective was to make it smaller and smaller. RECENTLY, they found out that people are going to go blind (surprise, surprise), exagerating/figuratively speaking.. AND NOW, thems working on making the dang thangs BIGGER. Really, LOL.
At the end of the discussion, he was asked what he thinks about the smart phone and related "toys" available today. He just shook his head and pretty much said thems ridiculous.. "Heck, the manual that comes with the dang thangs weighs MUCH more that the thang itself" and the addicts are paying for much more than they can use and besides, they can't figure out how to use all the gizmos thems paid for.
That's it, I gotta go kurby and see them replays. ...
