dunlock - what is the preston like and how far away is it ?

10-15 minutes, it is between the airport and downtown. Just completed a big renovation there within last 2 years, have not been inside since but they are doing a lot of promoting. It is right on I40 at Briley Parkway

At the bar
dunlock, i cannot get that hotel for both nights:shrug:

do you have any hotel suggestions ? several hotels i looked up online did not have great ratings in the vandy area. i do not mind a 15-20 cab fare. i want to get a nice hotel, but nothing that is going to be 200 +, we are not going to be at the room that much..........

Hey E! Raiders fan here as well. I've got some other friends coming into town that weekend as well. What nights do you need a room for? I've got a connection or two. I may be able to get you a room at the Renaissance Hotel. I'll let you know something tomorrow. Let me know the dates and I'll see what I can do. Look forward to serving you boys some jager bombs and one of my specialty shots called a backdraft.:scared

Probably got a decent deal and I think they have a shuttle service:shrug:

Let me know what you want to do and eat and will help with choices. You definitely need to hit Ronnie's bar around 10-10:30 before the game. My brother is a Raider fan too and he and his wife will be there.

Ronnie, you traitor rat bastid:mj07:

Fleming's is EXCELLENT but you are looking at $150+ for dinner and wine. It is one of the top rated steak houses in the area. Been there a couple of times and its a great meal!

I recommend Fleming's if the dinner is on a corporate card. And if that is the case, let me know what time my wife and I should be there!

Slightly less expensive and still very good is Stony River.

For a place that's not a chain and has good wine choices, you can try Park Cafe or Flyte.

Flyte

Park Cafe

Stoney River

Elvis, I just ran by the Preston and they have really fixed it up with the very chic colors, decor and furniture. They have a restaurant and bar. The place is sold out right now! They have a shuttle service but only to the airport and Opry Mills Mall. What rate did Orbitz get for you?

On Dawgs suggestions, I have been to both Stoney River and I used to line close to the Park Cafe. Both are excellent but a longer drive for you. Have not tried Flyte but after looking at it, will definitely give it a try, it is actually a little closer than Fleming's and this is one of the hottest new areas of town down by the Gulch and close to the Music Row scene on Demonbreun.

You got a deal! If the company is paying for it, I would stick with Fleming's, it is a little closer but you can;t go wrong with any of Dawg's suggestions. Look forward to meeting you at Ronnie's place before the game:00hour

Will be there around 10:30

Just take 40 west downtown to Church St, go right on Church and start looking to park at 2nd or 3rd Ave lots. Ronnie's place is the last business on Church St at the corner of 1st

See ya there!
