is not a good day. Today is 3 months. 3 of the longest and hardest months of my life. Just brutal. Something I hope none of you every have to go through. Today, is December 19, and just 3months ago I lost my wife to cancer at 32 years old. I couldn't even go to the grave today and have been a mentally shot all week. Tough to concentrate on other things when my mind is somewhere else, especially with Christmas approaching.

Thanks guys. MJ, you don't want me there in my newly Jack Lambert jersey, I might scare you and your relatives. Plus, you may not have enough beer for US. I am going to break records these next 2 weeks, might just have to open up a new beer thread to see who can stay with me. Matter of fact, going to crack open some right now for in start of this long journey.

Hang in there Brian. I'm sure a lot of us have no idea what you are going through. I hope the Steelers can take your mind off things, unless they play the Pats in the playoffs... :)

I am sure you are going to counseling, if not that might help. I feel sorry for you, hang in there

man, I didn't hear about this. My sincere thoughts and prayers for you. Cancer is such evil disease. Going through this with my dad now he is only 64, 32 is so young, just doesn't seem fair, I feel your pain, and will pray for your peace of mind.

don`t know whether you saw my post to you in another thread(the one in which you mentioned your dogs),but the holidays, while great for some, are brutal for others.....

another 10 or 11 days to fight through....you can do it...

may her soul rest in peace and may you find the strength to continue....that`s what she would want you to do...

It was 3 months ago that a brain tumor took the life of my 8 year old nephew.

I grieve deeply, and I still can not imagine if it was my wife.

I agree with Weasal, fight through and know that she is smiling down on you and is in a better place.

I know how hard that is to understand, as it seems so unfair, but know God has a greater plan for her.

Again, I wanted to punch really religious people in the face, when they told me God wanted my 8 year old nephew in heavon, but now I am coming to grips with it.

Take care of yourself, self medicate with REASON, and fight through this holiday season, as it will be a reason to remember the good times.

Im probably rambling, but wanted you to know I still think of you and pray for you.

I hear you guys, and yes GW I saw your message a few days ago...thank you. I appreciate the thoughts from everyone. Hedman, if I had a quarter for everytime someone said everything happens for a reason or the good Lord needed someone beautiful too, and so on, I would retire.

You never anticipate to be put in this situation. We are all going to get there one day, but just hopefully not this soon. What made it worse was to watch it happen for 17 days in the ICU, and as the man/husband not be able to help. Not punching, fighting, biting, clawing, working, paying, therefore truly helpless I was....which to me is truly unfair.

Stay with me for these next 11 days. A few of you I have sent pictures to, does it get any more beautiful than her? Stunning.

jr, I'm praying for you too! I know your pain is great, and I can't fathom the torture you feel inside. It will get better, and there is a light.
