Not sure why Toledo didn't go for it when it was 27-20 and they had the ball on the Ball State 45... however, they do a dumb fake play when they could have picked up 3 points and stopped momentum... agree, Ball State backers are smiling right now while Toledo backers are getting punished. At least Toledo covered the 1st half number.

Holy Toledo! They forced a Ball & Chain State punt... now score a TD dickheads so you're at least pushing for most people!
Toledo backers are really screwed with Opelt getting injured... hopefully they at least score a TD this drive so it's 34-27 and then somehow start playing some defense... I don't like my chances!
If you have anything over 68, don't think it goes over. What a middle opportunity you could have had on this game. Opened at 63 and my local had it at 72':scared
I agree......that fake FG-thingy....geez, just line up in your regular O and run your best play.....everyone knows Amstutz likes to go for it, who are you trying to fool by lining up in the mock FG formation......the play gave Opelt no options really and BSU jumped all over that short route.
We'll see what they have here in the fourth. That was a big, and surprising, stop to get the ball back....so all hope is not totally lost on this one yet tonight.
Of course, now the backup QB is in....a true frosh....go out there and come back from two TDs kid.
Don't know why I didn't play Ball State 2nd half as Toledo had lost momentum entering the half and the 2nd half number of 3.5 was very reasonable...
