You mean deflate-gate? The worst on-field mark in the NFL's history since I've been alive. Every QB's who's ever played says they all marked and got the footballs to their likings.

Speaking of Montana...that dude played with offensive and defensive hall of famers his entire tenure. Brady got a past-prime Moss who Brady turned back into a pro-bowler, Wes Welker who was a special teams and gadget player until going to NE, and lets not remind everyone that his best WR for a couple years, was one of their CBs :mj07:. Brady made it to 2 super bowls with some of the most historically bad defenses in modern history. Tom Brady just made his 7th SB appearance without his #1 weapon, and his top 3 WRs are all cast off #2 or #3 type WRs from other teams :mj07:

You line up Brady's stats + teammates and line them up with everyone else in the debate, and it's almost laughable and insane to debate.

I've experienced there are 3 type of people who say Brady's not the best. #1 haters, #2 people who are too stubborn to admit they were wrong, and #3 people who don't want to admit that he's better than the guy they grew up admiring. Don't worry though, 15 years will pass and another guy will come across probably better than Brady, and I'll be sitting here telling them they're crazy too :0corn
I don't care how miniscule the allegations atr....they are there....you can try and minimize it all you want.....they filmed another teams practice illegally...and adjusted inflation to benefit him....end of story...they cheated....it's there for his legacy forever.....that adds into what people will think of him...you can say 100 times every one does it....it after they serve a 4 game suspension for cheating it will hurt their legacy as well

And yes I'm a hater....I said he's top 3 ever to play the game....what a hater.....

And playing in that shitty division year after year also factors in....

I sat he's top 3 ever......you say he's #1...not much between 3 &1....

By no means is it a insult saying someone is top 3 ever to play his position

And also...every qb who played does not say they manipulated the balls past the legal limits

That's fact

They did not film another teams practice! That was an erroneous report that was fully retracted and apologized for!

They did not deflate any footballs! Any science teacher can explain that to you!

I'm almost certain they filmed from illegal location didn't they? And if I'm incorrect I apologize but what was it then

And I hope you understand I'm not saying he should be lynched for what happened

I'm saying that all of those issues have to be taken into consideration when discussing the legacy of brady, bill, and the entire organization

I don't know how people can argue that

Again I think he is top 3 ever....not an insult

Also I hope everyone understands that when it comes down to discussing topics that are opinion based, no person can be right or wrong....some seem to struggle with that concept

And I don't know any science teachers....

But I can admit when I was wrong...so if I was wrong saying that they manipulated the footballs, then I apologize

But if they didn't film illegally and didn't change the balls, what did they do?

Isn't that exactly what I said? They filmed from area not allowed? .they were told don't film from there...other teams didn't and had to film from the correct location....they chose to be vigilant and they broke the rules to gain an advantage ....for whatever reason hoodie thought he was able to better evaluate their plays/signals from field level....

I mean I get it that they didn't commit murder.....but if they didn't do these things to gain an advantage, why break the rules and risk it?

Fans pulling fire alarms didn't suprise me....win at any cost....I like how competitive they are....

Just saying, those things will forever be linked to them and have to be considered when discussing legacies ....and rightfully so...

For this era yes!! Not all time!!

But in my 46 years watching football he is the best QB I've watched in person and on TV!!

Era's evolve "T". Each has a different feel, chemistry, QBs mostly are bigger, faster and stronger than eons ago.

Not fair really to compare.

The Namath's, the Unitas', the Stablers', the Bradshaw's, the Staubach's, the Griese's, the Peyton Manning's, the Joe Montana's, the Steve Young's.

But what a run by Bill & Brady bunch and shit!! No one has the record they do in New England!!

Bob griese? Wtf bill?

Bob griese? Wtf bill?

LOL Roger, Bob Griese only quarterback to go undefeated in a full season he also went to two Super Bowl's beat Washington and lost to Dallas. I don't question, Brady's talent he has very compelling numbers but times are different now than back long ago. Yes he's definitely one of the best.

I have to CHIME in here!!!!

I have to CHIME in here!!!!

Bob Griese went to 3 super bowls and won 2 !!! :nono::nono:
He also THREW for over 25,000 yards in his career.
Not to mention that is damn GOOD considering he had
2 1000 yard rushers on his team named Larry Czonka
and Mercury Morris. Miami RAN the ball more than they
threw it by the way. So considering all that Griese had FANTASTIC
numbers and also if you think this isnt true then google where Bob Griese
ranks in the NFL 50 greatest Quarter Backs are. You will be very SURPRISED.:nono::nono:

yes Tom is great ,

but we all know a little pressure and gets knock around some you can stop him . think if he played in the 60 70 or 80' they would rattle him every game . with the rules they have today yes he is the best . cant hit the qb or touch a wideout would love to see the old school qb's with these rules they would have 25% better stats .

since tom started playing he is the best this era ....

That was my point as well

Totally different now.....qbs used to get jacked up

That's why I said to watch some games...I have....completely different....Montana would probably have every record if he played now.....hell Marino might as well.....just not the same

I'm younger but saw Marino in his prime and Montana at the end....

Wish football was the same

..I went back 2 years ago to see my DB coach from College... they were literally practicing not hitting as violent and hitting 'smart'....because you can avoid penalizing the team and injuring yourself much easier when under control..
I remember thinking wtf is going on.

Football is much different now
