we made a deal first and then played it out but i was chip leader when we made the deal. i didn't want to deal but they hassled me like you wouldn't believe so i finally agreed.

the one guy (who was the leader at the time) wanted a split. you can make a deal between players at the final table and split the prize money however everybody decides. i didn't want a deal, i just wanted to play it out. they were all bitching at me for not making a deal (the other 2 players and the lurkers). didn't make sense toi me why they would all get pissed at me. anyway, i gave them what they wanted once the floorman came into the room. i told them that i would split to the exact chip counts. since i was leading at that point, by a small margin, i got more money than they did but i really wanted to go for the 6900 1st place money. i wound up with 4800 and am still happy. plus, i did get the W for my record

Yes, I knew you could make a deal, just did not know the way to go about it. While you are playing, do you contact the floor manager somehow?
Also, I remember the floor manager, doing the split, and then told you guys to play it out for the Points. Do you get points for winning, second, etc. and what are they worth/for?
