I love my dog. Me and my wife treat our dog like a member of our family - not just a dog.

Anyway - we wanted to go to a lake resort that looked like a huge log cabin hotel. The first thing on their website read NO PETS (except service animals.)

We wanted to bring our dog 'cause she loves to swim and hike so I ordered a service dog vest online and special patches that had to be sewn onto the vest to show what kind of service dog she was. Then she needed papers so I found a few forms online and printed them out from the state of Oregon.

The entire vacation, we had our dog with us just as if we were home - she just wore a vest and every employee on the resort just smiled whenever we walked by never questioning our dogs presence. Some would try to pet the dog and we would say "Can't pet her. She's a working animal."

I'd like to see you get your dog on a plane with those papers and badges :toast:

On the course!
There is no lying by me about who I am employed with. The hospital rate is there for vendors as well. What is your point? You, sir, do not know and cannot speak for MY integrity.

His point is, you advocate in the original post that people should lie to get a better rate at certain hotels, and it's something he won't do.

Or, tell them you work for a large company, say, GE, and see what that rate is. GUARANTEED to save you a bundle.

The guy didn't call you names for doing it, for crying out loud.....he just said he couldn't do it.

Hey, when I rent a car, I look for the codes online that get me the best rate. Maybe some people think of this hospital discount along those lines?

Hey, Joker.

Here's a story about a local dog that will have your heart pulled in both directions. The dog was almost killed last week by a gunshot, but it is a police dog.......so where do you put your feelings?

(At least two cops were shot, and one died.......so don't let the story completely bum you out.)

Good for you on the car discount. Bottom line, the person taking your reservation does not care what rate you get, and the clerk checking you in could give a rat's ass as well what rate you are paying. Sooooooooo, take care of your wallet within reason of what feels good for you.

I really didn't mean to have the Holy Masses to come calling in this thread, but you always seem to have a negative comment for me yyz. I just don't get it. Agree with Nick.... you and Jaxx need to get together and have a kumbaya around a fire and let each other know how proud you are of each other.

Why am I even commenting on this? Oh that's right, on another boring conference call passing the time. Sheesh!

Yeah - I think police dogs are cool. Even though the majority of cops are pigs - I do not wish them dead.

Chuck, Jaxx needs to lighten up?

I haven't dogged you for one second in this thread. All I did was try to clarify what you didn't seem to undertand from his posts. (I understand what he's talking about, so now we're hand holding buds?)

And ONE TIME in the past we've bucked heads, and 'all I do is say negitive things about you'?

Wow.

I almost spit out my Dr. Pepper.

How much does a vest like this cost??
