treadmill question

We had a friend give us a treadmill, but it needs a key for it to run. I guees it was just a plastic thing that went in as a safety feature. the key is supposed to attach to you so if you fall it comes out and the treadmill stops.

They lost the key... does anyone know if there is a way to override this feature, so we can get the treadmill to work. We are ordering one, but it will take a week or so to come.

Absolutely there is an override feature. you can get the treadmill to work properly by hanging dry clothes on it immediately. Should work as advertised.

I would probably start by going to google and typing the model of your treadmill, and key after it

you might find out how much a key costs, and you might get some way of finding a way to override it

it's only a magnet or the thing it attaches to is a magnet, one or the other. it's supposed to have a string that you attach to yourself and if you fall it comes off the treadmill and stops it from running.

that's all it is. i have one, might not use it except for the first few days but i know how it works

if i could move the huge mutha, the laundry room might be a good idea for it a $2000 clothes hanger

fukin thing tells you how far you've gone, how fast you're going, what slope you're running, the calories you've burned, has fans on it, cup holders (no shit). the nordic track E300 or some shit.

don't get one, you'll never use it!!
