He knowingly fielded players during the season that he knew were ineligible. He signed (falsely) an NCAA Compliance Form for tOSU that he knew nothing about possible NCAA rules violations. When asked about it during a Sugar Bowl press conference he denied having any prior knowledge of the "Tat Five" allegations. This was a deliberate cover-up by Coach Sweatervest.

This has been known in football coaching circles since his days at Youngstown. Geiger hired Tressel because he knew he'd do whatever it took to win.

But I'll say this, there are plenty of crooked coaches who don't win nearly as much as the Vest does. The man can coach football.
