I disagree. I believe Michelle Obama to be an admirable woman and believe she will continue to work towards her personal causes even after the office. She's been a remarkable first lady and is widely respected worldwide, much like Lady Di was, but not to that level yet.

Like him or not President Obama has been a very effective president. Now I'm sure someone will tell me how stupid that is because they think the U S. Is all fucked up because of him, even though the U.S. legislative body is made up almost entirely of republicans and that's who makes policy, such is the situation when you ignore education and youth for decades, but I have yet to hear of him as being a liar. I don't care for Trump because he outwardly lowers the IQ of our country around the world. The Brits aren't ever going to elect John Leyden (Johnny Rotten) to P.M. The Aussies aren't nominating Mel Gibson anytime soon.

Trump is scum to his core. He isn't building any wall even if he served ten years he isn't building any wall or closing any borders. He hasn't a plan to eliminate ISIS or stimulate the muffle class economy, he's just a simple minded buffoon that loves himself more than anything else.

Nobody, and I mean not a single soul on earth, can defend him as a man of morals, ethics, sensibility, charisma, intelligence, or character workout invoking someone else to compare him too that is supposedly worse.

All the bullshit about "we need change in America" and "Trump isn't a politician so he'll shake things up" bullshit is exactly that. He can't and won't change a fucking doorbell let alone a country, he can't. Change has to come from the ground up.
That ground level, is the gene pool politicians, police, and, pinch hitters come from. People support a misogynist when they have the same traits. It's that simple. I'd be willing to bet that every Republican on this forum will claim to be a patriot and support our military. Yet it's their very own party, the party they so blindly support that they don't even realize the massive amount of legislation purposed to benefit our veterans Republicans have repeatedly voted down just in the last few years. The REPUBLICANS DENIED INCREASED SECURITY TO BENGHAZI, yet they knowingly deny the truth and put it on Hillary Clinton without regard for fact. That's called lying. They consistently make up lies to throw at anyone that doesn't agree with their own ideologies. The leader of their own special investigative committee forged confidential documents in order to plant evidence against Mrs. Clinton, got caught and they still think she's the problem. It's unfathomable to me how anyone can support anything about Clarence Thomas after hearing what he did to Anita Hill yet he's on the supreme court.

I'm fully aware that the Clinton's are not without issue and I don't think she's the nicest person ever or that her husband hasn't used his influence and power to maybe even get a little oral from an intern, but he's not running Amy he isn't the one that can start a nuclear, or nucularb if you're a Bush fan, war

I do not question how effective Barry has been, just like i didnt question bush or clinton. Staunch dems will likely say Bush was an all out disaster. Furthermore, those staunch dems will question his intelligence as if they have any clue about the man's aptitude. Laughable. Staunch reps will likely say clinton and barry were inept and hurt the country. They will make silly accusations that barry is Kenyan and in bed with terrorists. I mock those folks openly, and i feel deep down that these hardline reps and dems are more at fault for the state of affairs in this country than the leaders we elect.

No offense to you, blaster, hedge, duff or lowell, but I wish that any one of you would ever say/post/write anything against your party of choice.

Regards,

Reprehensible and irredeemable

Wall will never be built even if he get's elected. You really think the republican house and senate will pay for it?
As for Bill Clinton, overall he was a good president and I think better then the last two. Does that mean he is perfect? No, as someone who has a scientology documentary fetish his allowing the IRS to cave in to that criminal organiztioni was a horrible mistake. Presidents are like horse jockeys, the best ones lose the least amount of races and Trump is to me one that will lose alot more.

Trump has always come off as a self-absorbed asshole in my book. I have major doubts that he is a sexual predator, though.

In fact, i have less doubt that Bill Clinton, who has been accused of rape multiple times through the years and used his authority to lure an intern into lewd sexual acts in the white house, is a sexual predator than Trump, who has been accused of groping several times within a month of the election.

I guess that makes me a scumbag, right?

No, Cie, that doesn't make you a scumbag, but it does call into question whether your thinking is rational.

If the allegations against Bill Clinton (and they are ALLEGATIONS both against Bill Clinton and Donald Trump) had been made public when Clinton was running for president, then folks could have considered whether those made him unsuited for office, just as they now can about Trump.

But Bill Clinton is not running, now, against Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee.

And Hillary has not been even *accused* of sexual moral turpitude.

Trump has, and, in his own words, is, guilty.

So, WTF, are you comparing Bill Clinton to Donald Trump? Its Hillary responsible for the sexual predation of Bill? Is Ivana responsible for the sexual predation of Donald?

You claim to be nonpartisan. Really? I don't think so.

When you compare Hillary to The Donald, then I might listen. In the meantime, you're in the camp of skulnutz, lowell and raymond. Apples and oranges and irrational thinking.

Just curious to your thoughts.....why did these "allegations" against Trump come out now as opposed to last year in the Primaries......:0008

Well, I have no idea about the timing. Perhaps because there was no particular reason or forum for the women involved.

But since you use "allegations" in quotes, implying something nefarious, perhaps you have some idea. Care to share your thoughts?

Falsehoods?

Democrat lies?

Trump never did any such thing?

Something else?

While you think that over, here's something else for you to ponder:

Is there a double standard for women in politics?

Imagine if it were Hillary Clinton who had had five children by three husbands, who had said it was fine to refer to her daughter as a ?piece of ass,? who participated in a radio conversation about oral sex in a hot tub, who rated men based on their body parts, who showed up in Playboy soft porn videos.

Imagine if 15 men had accused Clinton of assaulting or violating them, with more stepping forward each day.

Imagine if Clinton had held a Mr. Teen USA pageant and then marched unannounced into the changing area to ogle the young bodies as some were naked and, after doing the same thing at a Mr. USA pageant, marveled on a radio show at what she was allowed to get away with.

Imagine if in a primary election debate Clinton had boasted that there?s ?no problem? with the size of her vagina.

Imagine if Clinton had less experience in government or the military than any person who has ever become president?

Imagine if she had said about a man running against her in the primaries, ?Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that??

Imagine if it were Clinton who had boasted, ?I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn?t lose voters.?

Imagine if it were Clinton who had been caught on a hot mike referring in a degrading way to men?s genitals and boasting that her prominence gave her license to grab men?s crotches.

Imagine if she had bragged about her attempts to commit adultery ? and later reportedly sought to have fired from his job the married man who resisted her seduction efforts.

Imagine that it were Hillary Clinton who had been accused of assault by her first spouse (later recanted) and later of assault in a lawsuit by a business partner.

Imagine if Clinton had defended herself from an accusation of molesting a young man by explaining, ?He would not be my first choice, that I can tell you.?

Imagine if Clinton had body shamed Donald Trump, saying that she had observed his rear end and concluded, ?I?m not impressed, believe me.?

Imagine if Hillary Clinton had first drawn national attention not with an idealistic speech at the Wellesley commencement, but by being sued for racial discrimination by President Richard Nixon?s administration.

Imagine if she had later been quoted by a member of her staff as saying ?laziness is a trait in blacks? and had retweeted white supremacists, including one honoring the American Nazi Party.

Imagine if it were Clinton who had gone through six bankruptcies and compiled a long record of stiffing contractors, from plumbers to painters to lawyers.

Imagine if it were Clinton who had ordered $100,000 worth of pianos from a small music store in Freehold, N.J., and then announced months after taking delivery that she would pay only $70,000. And if the owner recalled: ?Because of Clinton, my store stagnated for a couple of years. It made me feel really bad, like I?d been taken advantage of. I was embarrassed.?

Imagine if it were Hillary Clinton who had denounced international trade while manufacturing shirts in Bangladesh, neck ties in China, suits in Mexico and stemware in Slovenia.

Imagine that the Clintons had given an interview to People magazine and, while Bill stepped away to change clothes, Hillary told the male interviewer that she had a room to show him ? and then stuck her tongue down his throat.

Imagine if Clinton had boasted on Howard Stern?s radio show that ?in the history of the world, nobody has got more hot men than I have? ? and referred to those men she had seduced as her ?victims.? What if she were called a sex predator on the show, and she nodded proudly?

Imagine if PolitiFact had judged 71 percent of Clinton?s statements that it checked ?mostly false? or worse.

Imagine that, instead of releasing 39 years of tax returns, showing most recently that she had paid 31 percent of her income in federal income taxes, she had refused to release any returns ? and leaked pages from 1995 returns indicated that she had paid no federal income taxes at all for years.

Imagine if Clinton had rampaged for a week against a former beauty queen, and even tweeted encouragement to ?check out sex tape? of the woman ? even though such a video did not exist.

Imagine if Clinton had said, ?You know, it doesn?t really matter what [the media] write as long as you?ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.?

Imagine if Clinton had been so lecherous that her daughter, at age 17, made her promise not to date any boy younger than 17. And if Clinton then joked publicly that as a result ?the field is getting very limited.?

Imagine if Clinton had seemed completely ignorant of nuclear strategy and NATO yet said she knew ?more about ISIS than the generals.?

Imagine if the Clinton Foundation had failed to register properly, had made an illegal campaign donation and had expended resources not on saving lives from AIDS but (possibly illegally) on two giant portraits of Hillary Clinton herself.

So is there a double standard in American politics, indeed in American society, subjecting women to greater scrutiny? You decide.

True..... but the money could have been years earlier, don't you think.....
To be honest sports, this probably illustrates the difference between myself and most people. I have zero confidence in the perfection of any human being, ever. All will disappoint someone at every turn. I do not hold anyone to a standard I cannot possibly maintain myself nor do I accept the notion of an honest person. With that in mind, I have to tell you, i don't expect her to be without mistakes and missteps. I do however, believe it's a bad idea to start with a mistake and expect or to get better
