He did a great job helping Donald appeal to white America and a decent chunk of the minorities. I think this is too high profile a gig for a dude with this much baggage, but I understand Donald wanting to reward those that helped him succeed. You may be jumping the gun by wanting someone to stay for two terms who you haven't even seen do the job yet.

There is going to be a lot more crying by the left when a conservative like Cruz is appointed to the Supreme Court , Sheriff Clarke to Head of Homeland Security and a strong conservative as AG.

Seems counter-intuitive to pump more sludge in, but I don't blame him for bringing politicians along because you have to have some experience to lean on. As someone that votes third party most of the time, I love the thought of getting the typical bought and paid for politician out of the way. We'll see.

Ted Cruz would make sense for the Supreme Court. Obviously, I think the guy is a complete POS and wouldn't be surprised if he got busted for sleeping with dudes at a rest stop, but I wonder if he could get confirmed. It is typically a person that both sides have to agree on and there is no way in hell the left will let that far right conservative on if they have a say.

I believe it was Kagan but it might have been Sotomayer that dissented the decision about the fireman aptitude test given in Connecticut. She decided it was racist because not enough blacks could pass the exam. The exam had to be made easier so a greater number of minorities could pass it. Neither one follows rather Constitution.

Bush sent thousands to die in a war that he lied about, no investigation. Deadliest attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor, no real investigation. Give me a break, scrutinized my ass. Not only that, so you've completely forgotten or have selective memory about Obama's birthplace, by Trump nonetheless, as well as his college transcripts. His children's attire was scrutinized, his sexual orientation questioned.
