The media has been under attack for years because the truth is the last thing our politicians want disclosed. The public is being manipulated. 24 hour news pundits are confused with actual reporters, actual news outlets are confused with partisan propaganda websites. If NBC News makes an error in reporting, it's blown out of proportion and used as the reason not to trust them. These happen a handful of times and the stories are retracted. The ones raising the stink aren't interested in the truth so they never retract or fix anything, but they bring up the handful of examples of the MSM over and over. They're very smart because people are gullible and they truly are more interested in having their preconceptions and passions matter more than verifiable facts. It's a sad time.

We could sit here all day and show examples of how each media outlet twist the message to satisfy their agenda, so hell no I'm not defending any of them.....Same as some of these asses in office getting rich over lies and underhanded deals right in front of our faces with nothing being done about it....I'm sick of it.

zig I don't get tied up in the whole Rep/Dem game, I want what's best for myself and the country.....I see nothing wrong with members voicing their thoughts and concerns on any subject, I think it's great to see others way of looking at things.
I do get heated when career politicians run around and screw the American people and get rich doing so. They've been doing it for years and getting away with it, why is that surely it's been no secrete.

I totally agree with that. I also take offense with being labeled as stupid just because I have a differing view point. My point was that as an independent you seem to only be taking offense to one side of the argument. Maybe it is because I mostly agree with the other side of the argument

The public being manipulated by the MSM is such a manipulated response. For example, one of the #1 believers in that is Skulnik, yet he will routinely post stories that are "bad looks" for the Democrats found on the MSM websites. I get the part about the pundit shows, but the actual news is a totally different animal. Reports that make Trump look bad aren't anti-Trump no more than reports that make Democrats look bad are anti-Democrat, but the Republicans can't seem to understand that part. Therefor, if a report comes out that makes their side look bad, the whole station must be against them. It's infantile logic. Luckily, they have outlets like Fox News that post stories about the Clinton family while the other outlets report on Trump paying a porn star $130k in hush money before the election. It's a joke but you're so blinded by what you want to believe that you can't see it.

Terry, come on. I am not calling anyone stupid for having a Republican viewpoint. I do believe a lot of stupid people got conned by fake news stories.....and still do. Remember pizzagate? Hedge and Skulnik are convinced it is true, despite the fact it is proven to be shit. These complete falsehoods are compared to the MSM as if they are just as bad. It's mind blowing how you can think InfoWars is more credible than the NY Times, but Hedgehog, Skulnik, and Salty have all said so. It's craziness. I didn't address the part about Hillary's spending on FB. An ad or post that says vote for me isn't going to get traction the way a post that makes wild claims that people WANT to be true will. Come on, man. If you use social media at all you can understand this point. Bland statements don't go anywhere while the "edgy" posts get all kinds of attention, true or false.
