23-19 overall, one for tonight.

valpo -11-: evansville leads this series 65-16 but i sense the crusaders won't be calling off the dogs tonight. these two teams resumed their series last year in evansville after a seven year layoff, and the purple aces treated their upstate guests to a big dose of home cooking in a 69-64 win. valpo actually led by three at halftime but the buzzer saw the home team win by outshooting the visitors from the free throw line by a 33-9 margin. things got so bad that crusader hc homer drew got double t'd and ejected.

fast foward to tonight. the veteran evansville squad that homered valpo is mostly gone, including the head coach and four of their top five players. the young valpo team that got squeezed almost all returns, led by coach drew, and i'm gonna take a stretch and say that they've had tonight circled on the calender.

evansville hasn't been much of a road team in some time, and their recent sojourns to buffalo and cape girardeau indicate that that trend isn't likely to change soon. gomez, their best player, remains sidelined. meanwhile valpo is on a roll with their best start in years. while followers will attest i'm usually not one to go with dd favorites, can't help but feel some payback is in the cards tonight.

Agree, like the way Valpo is playing right now. Not just a homer pick, I went to Valpo during their NCAA run with Brice Drew and the Jenkin twins, but they are playing very well right now and like a revenge game as well.

Fading to +12.5 and o131
i realize you're new but why would you go into someone's thread to tell them you faded them? nevermind, don't reply to me in this thread just stay out and start your own.

I knew the spread was a hook, line and sinker created by vegas to get people to bet -11. The line moved to -12.5 and people were still jumping on it. There was big value in +11 and hudge value in +12.5 IMO. Won my over bet as well but I forgot to book it because I misclicked when I bet :(

No offense man, but I don't get this. What I'm going to say isn't intended as a flame either. If you disagreed with the play, simply post your opinion and why you think that. That's what message boards like this are for, constructive discussions. It's pretty easy to come back afterwards about how you knew there was value in the line.

Again, don't take this as a lecture, I'm just trying to share some insight. There are some great cappers on here and some good discussion and insight that goes on. Your insight and opinions should be considered just as much as the next guy. Post away and good luck to you.

Ya, I shouldn't have said that I was fading his bet. Just felt there was value the other way and couldn't possibly pass up on +12.5. Should have explained my thought process.
