whitesox+160 everyone think the angels will be a easy winner.
not so fast. the whitesox are bad on the road this is true,
but went the whitesox play at home here some facts.

the sox vs lefties at home at nite are 7-2 and avg 6.5 runs per game. sox vs righties at home at day games 10-5 and avg 6.6 runs per game.

this may not make any sense the angels wasburn is 7-0 on the road at nite. % wise he is do to lose on the road at nite. i am going to back the nice underdog here, and hope for a nice payout.:moon:

CWS are 7-3 in Wright's last 10 starts.

The over is 10-5 in CWS's last 15 at home.
CHI WHITE SOX are 14-3 vs. the ML when playing on Tuesday this season.
WRIGHT is 5-1 vs. the ML as a home underdog of +100 to +150 over the last 3 seasons. (Team's Record)

Thanks for the advice, Ray. Are you going to tell us which games are the "easy winners" you referred to in your post last night? I did my homework and the only easy winner I came up with was Anaheim. Of course, I bow to your knowledge far superior to mine and I will probably coattail you, since you have been right for me far more times than wrong.

Thank you for your posts, Raymond. Much appreciated.

I hate to be the one to disagree with you RAYMOND but Wright is 0-1 with a era of about 27.00 this year vs. the angels.
I am not saying that the white sox arent going to win but to me this game is a no play.
I know this site looks up to you but some people dont have the money to throw out there for a game like this. I know your hoping for a payout here but let s get serious here. This can t be the game of the day for anyone.
Your insite on the game is great dont get me wrong but i totally disagree with your selection and reasoning today.
Best of luck to you .

Please reread his post. Where does it say this is his "game of the day"?

I imagine Ray has more than one play but he is not obligated to post them all here.

Some ppl bet on what they perceive as 'value plays'. Does it mean that the trends/stats support their play? Maybe not, but there is 'value' in the line which is why they bet it.

good luck to both of your plays today.

The Sox are getting ripped in the Chicago papers on a daily basis. Hard to guess where their heads are at with all the clubhouse crap going on. They need to lose Thomas in a hurry but seemingly no takers which is understandable. Good luck.

The WSox may turn things around,
but for those that may have missed it,
they looked pretty bad against TB in their last series. . . .

The white sox blow, take washburn and the angels for a victory. Of course, no guarantee, but for a nice price with washburn you cant go wrong. If he can shut the yankees lineup down, then im sure he can cruise through the sox weak lineup.

Washburn is the most underrated pitcher in either league this year. He has allowed 3 runs or less in 16 of his 19 starts. He is tough as nails whether he goes against Yankees or DRays. This year's Angel team is unlike any other, and believe me, I have suffered since their first game. They have a team spirit that you don't often see in the major leagues. They never quit and have a bevy of clutch performers. Glaus and Fulmer, quiet most of the year, are showing signs of life. I could never recommend going against Washburn - but at least in this case, you are getting a nice price on a home dog. Halos have also played about 14 straight days without time off, but Scoscia has these guys believing they can win it all.

Raymond....I think the stats from the White Sox need to be taken with a grain of salt. This is a completely different team than the first three quarters of the season. Not only from a personnel standpoint but from an attitude standpoint as well. The White Sox are no longer playing for this season (or the next for that matter). Anyway, I just wanted to put in my thoughts. If you are basing your play off of your stats you might want to take a closer look.

Thanks,

if you like w Sox, don't base it on 2 flights. Detroit to Chicago is a 1 hour flight. Angels were in bed by 1 a.m., which by MLB standards is early.

Good luck

DANGEROUS

DANGEROUS

Some of these teams that have "mailed in " their season are still dangerous..they have nothing to lose.. and try all kinds of weird stuff.

Good Luck all
