finally back on track with indiana time.

making the trek tomorrow and it will take 7 hours instead of 6. coming back will take 7 hours instead of 8. ;)

goofballs in columbus, indiana don't move the clocks. do you guys in indianapolis? where is the cutoff? i once had this converation with kosar but forgot.

i do like watching MNF at 8pm so that's shot down.
i'll have to remember not to subtract 1 hour from the time in my car while in indy.

oh well, at last i get an extra hour sleep tonight. or will i really?

i like leaving at 1pm so i can listen to the ravens, making the first 3 hours seem to go faster. good game tomorrow too.

i haven't seen my house in 2 weeks and will have to wait until monday because it will be dark so that sucks. hmmmm, unless i leave earlier but then i'll be out of range to hear the ravens. i'll have to think on that.

i hate halloween but it doesnt matter where i live because im in the sticks and nobody will stop by anyway. :D

i guess i'm done my hungover rambling.

like goat says, "take kent -2 and we'll meet you at the window".

good luck today, folks, and let's hope the server holds up during crunch time.

i guess i wasn't done my rambling.

maryland doesn't have a shot vs fsu and the ravens don't have a shot vs philly. if i drink again today (very likely with all the football) i'll probably be real miserable tomorrow unless the ravens pull it off but i might bet against them.

see? i'm having all kinds of issues today.

good luck :D

Jack, Indiana is one the few states that does not change time, I personally love it myself, I think it is the rest of the country that is messed up.

The cutoff line in Indiana is down by evansville area, they change there clocks, work down there once in a while, and consider that part of kentucky anyways! LOL!!

Jack:

That has to be the most intelligent, well-reasoned, poignant post I have ever read here at your forum. However, I assure you Jack, that it will take the exact same amount of time going from Maryland to Indiana as it will going the other direction. The time will remain consistent however, the clocks may change.

If you would like further explanation of this principle, please go to my website at:

eddie, are you serious? i thought it had something to do with the wind because when i fly to vegas it only take 2 hours to get there but 8 hours to get back. but then again, i'm in the mountains so it's all downhill to get there and uphill coming home.

not sure YOU have it right ;)

chan, i wonder how much that guy gets paid? i'd surely hate to have THAT job :D

Scott.....er I mean Jack :)

Jack:

I am right. Your example that the flight to Vegas takes 2 hours whereas the return flight takes 8 hours is not accurate either. It just seems like it takes 8 hours on the return flight because you were sitting next to Raymond on the way back to Philly whereas on the flight to Vegas you were not sitting next to Raymond.

Canada
Arizona, Indiana, and Saskatchewan are the only states/provinces that DO NOT change their time. And get this I have lived in two of em (Indiana and currently in Sask). Yes there are exceptions, for example certain parts of Indiana, Sask, and Arizona do change their clocks but for the most part pretty much all of the state/province does not change.

So bottom line we here in Sask are currently on Mountain time, but as of Sunday we will be on Central time.

And for what it's worth.......I like the time change, I think it's dumb not to change the clocks.

And food for thought........

It was a Canadian who infact invented the "time zone" (railroad) so if your pissed....blame Canada :142lmao:
