I hope Texas loses. This is classic example of playing not to lose and not having your team ready to go. Been on there heels all game on D against a terrible team.

So Cal
I'm biased but 2 things seem clear

1. Youngs performance cinches the Heisman for Bush

2. Texas could be this years version of Oklahoma...an overated big 12 'champ' that is used to opponents wilting early. When an opponent repeatedly smacks them in the mouth they wilt.

ok let me hear you say it. is the usc defense better than the texas defense?

Good question. Honestly, I don't know.

USC has the better DC. I know that. That makes HUGE difference in a bowl game where you get 4 weeks to prepare and study your opponent. Plus USC gets to throw everything they have against Texas, they can't do that in regular season games. USC for most part plays basic vanilla D in regular season. Especially in 1h's.

I do know USC D has been tested, much more tested than the Texas D. USC D prob. has been the most tested D in the entire country. That is huge plus for USC D going into the Rose Bowl.

I also know that for the entire year USC has been injury depleted on D and also inexperienced. Those 2 issues will be improved dramatically on Jan. 4th.

I think on Jan. 4th USC will have the better defense. Right now Texas prob. has the better defense.

What great offense has Texas faced all year? Serious question. TT might be but they are a gimmick offense. Other than TT who else? NOBODY!

Is there a non-gimmick offense that exists outside the PAC 10?

Only the uneducated like to make personal attacks and call people a moron. Then you also have those who agree (kneifl) with those who must make personal attacks.

That is what some people must do when they can't hold their own in a discussion! BTW, calling me names is like giving me a pat on the back beause you don't see me calling you names!

Bottom line.

Longhorns win.

In the end that is all the matters.

1 win away from the Rose Bowl.

I agree. Congrats on your team winning and coming one step closer to the BCS National Championship game!

what's "gimmicky" about the texas tech offense? they don't run all kinds of trick plays. they just line up with 4 or 5 wideouts every time and constantly put pressure on your secondary for 60:00. leach is an offensive genius but not because he's re-invented the wheel.
