HELL
who the hell would want to be a member of a golf course like oakmont? the fcuking place is unplayable and can't be any fun.

Extremely expensive/elusive to get in as well, 100K. They don't keep the conditions like this for the members and I believe there is a waiting list to get in too. It will be brutal scoring this weekend with some crazy pins.

i checked on membership just to find out how much. the initiation fee is $75K but the ONLY way to get in is to be invited by a member. i have no idea the yearly costs are.

yeah, it's not as long for members and they probably keep the rough cut a lot closer, but still. i don't think i could enjoy myself on a couse like that.

these pros are walking off shaking their heads.

did you see jose maria when he finished? LOL

On the course!
Do you actually think guys become members of country clubs like that for golf?

That's like thinking politicians enter office to "make a difference"!

HELL
Tiger and Phil worked out all week at my local gym. No coincedence that they are ranked 1-2 in the world. Hello, everyone else you must follow suit. I would go in the morning and they would be there in the afternoon or vice versa. Tiger works out really hard doing circuit training and core exercises. As for manboobs, who knows, he did some kickboxing and cardio stuff. I think I just saw Villegas around 7:15 this morning, confusing because his tee time is at 10:55, but it had to be him with the goofy exercises only a golfer would do.

I was hoping to see those guys and give them my workout, how bench press 225 12-15 times which will equate to then hitting your 7-iron only 150 yards...:mj07:

Hope anybody but Woods wins this thing. I am sick of the media shoving him in our faces all the time. Hey media, I 've got a good idea. How about talking about and showing the guy leading the tournament instead of every move Woods makes.

Let's see, golf has been on NBC for about an hour now and we've seen about 10 min of golf, 50 min of drama and commercials. This is just about as bad as the olympics. Might as well throw in a 20 min interview with "you know, you know" Wie...Show some golf already!
