Wonder if Rogan will bet me on that being an ACL blown out? I don't think that's what happened. I'll be very suprised if that was an ACL being blown out. we'll see!

quit being biased, he was picking Cote apart whenever he wanted. Cote looked like a light sparrig partner.

Are you kidding me???? Cote was the one going forward while Silva was dancing!!! He hit Cote few times but as i told you Cote has an iron chin and he wouldnt have been down. Heck he last 3 rounds and it should have been much longer but Silva was just dancing and fooling around....:nono:

Did Cote even land a punch? I saw maybe 3 or 4 leg kicks. Disaster, nobody will buy a ppv with Cote headlining it again with Anderson Silva :mj07: :mj07: Cote might have a chin of granite, but he didn't have a lick of offense

You in some sort of Cote fan club? Anderson didn't even take Cote serious, was just toying with him. Cote didn't do anything..... cept take a lot of brutal kicks and knee's well

cote did nothing, there were moments in round 1 where anderson stumbled after an exchange, but on the replay it was clear silva landed a bad-ass knee and kick then stumbled as cote hit air. the few shots that landed in rd2 were all silvas.

cote is a sparring partner for silva, and it showed. silva fought accordingly..

honestly...i think i willed cote`s knee to implode..

i layed 4-1 on silva inside the distance, and frankly,i thought silva was ill prepared....

i don`t know whether he was looking past cote......or he was leery of those wild right hands....

but, silva looked like shit,i thought....he was on his bicycle the whole time...

if you were judging aggression, silva was m.i.a....
he was sleep walking out there...

thats the first and last time i lay 4-1 on anything.....

Sad what some of you are saying about Cote. What the hell did you want him to do charge him? Silva ran most of the night. Nobody is gonna make that fight look good. I thought he did as well as he could and you never know what would have happen later. Bucks says he picked him apart. What with three punches because that is about all i saw.

Huge props to Cote........what a great effort....he even lasted round two on one leg. Anderson is damn good, but Cote showed that you can hang with him.....way to go Cote well done. And as usual Bucs has no clue what the fuck he's talking about. Cote put forth a great effort anybody that didn't see that is a friggen moron. Silva was the better fighter, but Cote deserved to be there that is for damn sure.

Keep in mind Bucs still thinks GSP sucks...so what does that tell ya.

Santos at 6-1.....sweetness baby...wooo hoo:)

And GSP ain't gonna fight Alves, he will beat Penn and then the superfight of Silva and GSP will take place. And that will make the Couture/Lesner PPV look like pennies.

Looks like lots of guys did well tonight.....the 6-1 underdog, Sell and the parlay hit for me so I am a happy camper.:)

And GW.....you are correct Pride was exposed a long time ago, so many Pride dudes have been smoked in the UFC. Oh and Werdum getting smoked does nothing for Vera :142smilie

Weepaul....I know you had like 900K on Kos, and yes we were both wrong on that fight. But there is a positive, never a bad thing to see Kos lose.

Way to go Cote......great heart, great effort. Not many in ANY weight class that could go 3 rounds with Anderson. And that fight would have gone to a decision (Anderson would have won) Cote was not going to go down.

Bottom line nobody will beat GSP and Anderson.....they will fight each other, the top 2 guys in all of MMA are Silva and GSP, they'll never lose....they have to fight each other....and they will.

Good PPV, lots of good fights, except for the Maynard fight.....that didn't go well. But with only one bad fight that ain't all bad:)

Sponge is correct.....I mean what the fuck did ya want Cote to do...he fought the entire 2nd round on one leg. And was in there throwing and taking huge shots and not going down. He did better then anyone did against Cote. And he would have lasted 5 rounds with Anderson. You have to be smoking crack and javex not to give massive props to Cote.

cote shocked me...he came to fight.....

i don`t know what silva came to do....looked like some sort of religious ceremony....

i`ve never seen so much bowing and genuflection before, during and after the fight since i was in sister rosemary`s catacysm class...

methinks all this adoration is going to mr silva`s head...

cut the shenanigans and do your job,dude...you nearly gave me a coniption.....

it's not about "heart" or willingness to fight, that's not what im talking about, and presumably, not what bucs is talking about. pretty much nothing happened. cote never got near him, the only notable power shots landed were by silva.

there's no moral victory in cote being able to hang around while silva practices his michael jackson routine. the point is it wasnt a competitive fight. we can praise cote for coming forward, but in terms of damage done, and betting victories, that's nothing to boast about.

Anderson just danced and ran around in the 1st round. Watch the 2nd round again. He DOMINATED the 2nd round. He kickboxed the hell out of Cote, and it looked like a clinic. Honestly, I can agree I couldn't believe what Anderson was doing, but Cote looked nothing like a sparring partner.

3 punches? He landed some brutal leg kicks, 2 very nice knees, and a bunch of shots in the clinch. Those shots to the ribs looked like they did some damage as well.

I guess I'm the only one who can pick a fight apart post-fight and remember EVERYTHING. You just fail to see it, and only pick Anderson dancing and act like he danced for 15 straight minutes.
