I primarily trained to fight, then to defend. We did have to train to get over the fact of hitting a woman because they are just as dangerous in certain circumstances. BUT ! we never enter an "Arena" looking to kick the shit out of a girl, but our Spidey Senses are always tingling.
When I was training in Hapkido, I did fight the Grand Masters daughter, but it was controlled, good thing for me :mj07:
